    from the OP choices, Gravity Builder. It looks freaking amazing it's so cool to look at. The authentic from generation toy is damn good QC, it's stable, and poses great. It doesn't quite scratch the G1 Masterpiece itch though. Constructor is the guy for that

    There is a upgrade kit for GT version, and Jinbao said on weibo is making one too.

    Below is the GT version with and without upgrade kit.

    TFC Hercules owner weighing in here.

    While I do love my Hercules and he fits in perfectly with my CW/UW combiners, his build quality is not great, since he comes from early 3P construction. Quite a few of his parts are prone to failure, even after the silver box second runs fixed a few things. Such things include Structor/Scrapper's shoulder ratchets, Heavy Labor/Long Haul's hip ratchets and Dr Crank/Hook's combiner shoulder joints. All of these can be fixed without having to buy a new figure, but you could also potentially ruin them if not handled well.

    I would still recommend Hercules, but these potential (but not guaranteed) issues really shouldn't be ignored.

    New head and thigh extensions, mostly.

    There is also a light-up chest plate and battery-powered drills to go over his hands.

    U want the original GT upgrade kit? It's still on sale here:
    Generation Toy - GT-09 - Gravity Builder Add on Kits

    The price is very reasonable, $30, and the site is trustworthy. But u need to pay for the shipping.

    37973792695_1ea156e5c2_b.jpg Since the OP did not know other options, Constructor is a better alternative and lower priced.

    @FightingRooster Before you consider Constructor as an option, be aware that he is a pantsformer as he relies heavily on extra pieces to look good. But if you don’t care about that, then he might be the cheapest of the bunch with the exception of the GB KO.

    All down to personal preference really. I quite like IDW and would of liked to get my hands on GTGB but can't really have the option here without paying through the nose. So I got the OSKO GB and like people have said it was a bit chaotic at first with Devy but now it's all good with me moving him around.

    The only really down side (aside from sprue marks) is the lose shoulder rotation ratchets being too lose on mine, can't even hold his own gun up. But I'll need to have a look at it at some point and hopefully it uses a spring that can be easily swapped out.

    One big side with the OSKO is that it's quite cheap compared with the OG GB or Constructor. Which is really cool if you're into doing some modding. Like this from the user Gen Jay on the KO OS GT GB board.

    Not just the pants, but the forearms and hands, too.

    Below is a photo of all of the extra parts. It's too much partsforming for my taste, but others like the extra size it allows.

    I don't know if the individual bots' guns store on the figures, but Gravity Builder's do, which is even more of a bonus, in my opinion. Also, GB's big blaster and chest wing transform into a gun that is useable by the individual constructicons (not my photo):

    Hey guys I'm sorry I'm a noob and don't understand so many acronyms, it seems to be a lot of versions? which one would you recommend in terms of having a fun transformation and no clearance issues while transforming it? Also interested in masterpiece scale or legends :)

    Ebay:
    ToyWorld Constructor is beautiful, but he's a PITA in terms of QC, and the transformation is problematic the first few times around. TT/Hasbro's Devastator is cool here, but watch some youtube comparison (the guys from Ages Three and up did one:

    This one may also be helpful (combined mode):
    and this (bots):

    I don't know how the others are, but I'm sure more people will pitch in.

    Hah, we do use a lot of acronyms here.

    The current favorite mp devastator is Constructor by ToyWorld. There are several different versions of this set.

    For Legends Scale, I'm not knowledgable enough to know. There is the dx9 Hulkie, I think a different version in the os ko by mechfanstoys called Hercules. Some fans use Maketoys Green Giant.

    OS = over-sized (an enlarged KO version)
    KO = knock off (cheaper copy of an other original mold)
    OSKO = oversized knockoff
    QC = quality control (if something has qc issues, could mean there are certain common parts/joints are weak, missassembled, or poorly designed)

    CW = combiner wars (Hasbro's most recent devastor)

    UW = Unite Warriors (Takaratomy's version of Devastator)

    TT = TakaraTomy
    TFC = 3rd party company that made Hercules, not to be confused with mechfanstoys hercules

    JB = JinBao (they made the OSKO of GB)

    GB = Gravity Builder (3P Devy made by GT)

    GT = Generation Toys (a 3P company)
    3P = 3rd party (someone other than what Hasbro/Takaratomy/parent company makes, most cases here are unofficial fan-made transformers)

    I can only speak for Generation Toy Gravity Builder, but mine has been top notch in all regards. Packaging, quality control, ease of transforming, poseability, all have been excellent. It isn't the largest sized option, so some will criticize it as being "not masterpiece scale." I personally think it's big enough and looks good enough to do the job. There are knockoff/oversize versions that are also cheaper. I can't vouch for their quality control.

    Thank you so much for this I had everything mixed up!

    Really cool gallery, it seems like a great version of devastator!
