I think that if that metal stepping thing wasn’t in the way along with that row of gas tanks and canisters that sits on top of the other row of metal stuff the door could be longer and it’d look more normal but as it is that’s pretty bad.

 

After Gunfighter II's truck mode hamster cheeks I've lost the ability to tell what's proportionate on semis anymore.

You do. The original was more proportionate.

 

I'll admit, the robot mode does look better than UT's, but the alt mode ruins the whole thing, IMO. If it wasn't for the alt mode, not to mention the height of the bot mode, I would've replace Challenger for this (barring the QC and transformation).

 

Sooooooo.... Basically UT Challenger for a great Altmode and Okay bot.. or TW Knight Orion for banging bot mode, and Okay Altmode?

remember how bad those 3P G1 megatron's were, and then TT released MP36, and everyone including the 3Ps went.. Oh crap! that's how we should be doing it?? then it seemed like we finally started getting the Megatron's we wanted.. now, with this.. I tend to get that same feeling. good tries.. but it is just gonna take that one company to nail it, and the Bayverse Knight prime wars will be over.. I am sitting on my hands on this one, and all the other Knight Primes. I want to see what else comes out.

Yeah, I wish they hadn't given the alt mode so much paint weathering, especially the front grill. The bot mode can look weathered, but the alt mode should look clean and polished, if that makes sense.

yeah, I tend to enjoy clean alt modes as well. Though it looks like its only there on the silver bits , so you might be able to paint over those and get a clean alt mode.

 

Yes, but maybe they could not as some robot parts may look weird being weathered on a clean alt mode.

 

Am I the only one who prefer his old arms form? I mean before he became a knight in TF4.

There was an early prototype pic where he had the arms and they were significantly smaller than the current ones. So i'm a bit curious if you can remove whats shown in these pics and have them.

 

If the toy holds together during the transformation I will be happy. I can't say the same about El Cid though!
