I finally have the whole team and am starting the combination process. Am I missing how to securely connect the rear fuselage of Silver Bolt to the rest of him in his combined mode box? Or does the tail just rest on the lower back flap?

 

There is a small tab under the fuselage next to the landing gear that you have to flip out. The tab then pegs on two notches on Silverbolt's legs and that secures the backpack for combined mode. Does this help you?

Got mine from Netclow yesterday. Picked up the whole set for $328 during the eBay sale. Good lord this thing is enormous. And heavy. Mostly good QC. The nosecone on Downthrust is installed upside down but other than that all seems in order.

 

I've got Silver Arrow from Netclow scheduled to be delivered this Friday (at long last). The last 2 limbs from ShowZ's website are scheduled to be delivered Tuesday of next week.
Hopefully you can correct the nose cone on your Downthrust.

So basically the torso on the combined mode has the Studio OX design only.

Same here. My Silver Arrow from Netclow arrived today, a day ahead of schedule. At long last I have Silver Arrow.
Just waiting for the last remaining limbs to arrive next week.

I mean yeah. Sadly you can’t switch the limbs around. But I’ll live.

Plastic here as well. Really doesn't make a difference to me, he stands fine without it.

 

Well, technically, all the combiner kibble, and Silverbolt, should be very pale grey. Only the limb-bots used PURE white. (both G1 toy and toon were like that, but it's very easy to miss, as even slightly messing with exposure/contrast can eliminate the difference).

 

Had a little free time today so I painted up his visor.
