I’m pretty sure the combiner is gonna be 50cm which will be in scale with Constructor.

Apparently die-cast costs about the same as plastic these days, but I have no source for that other than "that's a thing that I heard", so don't quote me on that.
    Fixed.
It's so he can kill twice as many people at once. ;)
I don't think it's a disguise nor an excuse for shitty engineering, but it's definitely a "feel-good" thing - just look at FansToys.
Yeah, those die-cast thighs are easily one of the worst parts about Savant. Such a shame too, because he's great. Actually, the paint chips pretty easily on his feet too, but I guess that was unavoidable, and I do prefer that they're die-cast, so...

I just wish the windshield wasn't so damn hard to transform. Even once you know how to do it, it's still Hell on Earth.
Nope, but I do wish Generation Toy would hurry the hell up and release more stuff. MMC too.
Next thing you know, he'll be releasing photos of competing companies peeing on each other's products at the factory to prove once and for all that there is indeed corporate sabotage in the third-party world!
And some people around here would make Einstein roll in his grave, so...
Thank God you're the only one who cares about having two trailers. The rest of us are glad they dropped that dumb idea...
Completely subjective, and clearly a lot of people disagree with that conclusion.
    Just FYI, you're arguing with a known shit-stirrer. I wouldn't bother.

And honestly, as someone who prefers the Hasui style of Masterpiece figures over the extreme cartoon accuracy, I'm absolutely in love with this set, because 598's managed to actually still add some details to the robot modes whilst making them very clean, and has also made the alt modes look realistic, so I'm quite happy with them. Somehow, I believe he not only nailed the cartoon aesthetic but also managed to fit them into Hasui's aesthetic as well, and I love that.
The combined mode is going to be about the same size as Zeta's combiners. Last we heard from FansToys, theirs were going to be a bit bigger than Zeta's.
Other retailers have them up too, such as ShowZ (who have just added Drag Strip today):
[Per-Order] XTransbots X-Transbots XTB MX-XV MXXV MX-15 MX15 Deathwish Deadend Monolith Combiner Menasor
[Pre-Order] XTransbots X-Transbots XTB MX-XVI MXXVI MX-16 MX16 Overheat Drag Strip Monolith Combiner Menasor

Man, if that's the extent of their Dead Ends articulation, they're going to be hard pressed to beat xtb's arm bots. More dynamic, yeah right.

Dead End is my favorite Stunticon so I may be a bit biased, but subtlety is Dead End with his ambivalent attitude he doesn’t care for flashy so that makes sense.

At most it's 1cm shorter than Constructor to the head. A MASSIVE 10 whole millimetres. Pretty much insignificant in the scheme of things. They've supposedly said it's now the same height more recently so we'll see what happens.

So... not trying to be rude or anything but you think the xtb carbots are lacking in dynamic posability? They're very posable - what articulation do you think they're missing? And you bring this up while saying that Fanstoys' version is (or will be since they don't exist yet) better? You have a bunch of FT bots, right? Are any of them more posable than their counterparts from other companies (genuinely asking)? If I were to extoll a list of praises for FT figures, posability would not be on that list - they usually prioritize looks over everything else, including posability, to a fault. Just look at Rouge - I love her and she's still my number one Arcee but lack of a waist swivel in a MP figure is just plain inexcusable at this point.

You talked about loving Hoodlum - how's the paint on yours? I heard some people got him with chipped paint right out of the box and that was exactly the point where I stopped considering maybe upgrading my mp28 (wasn't seriously considering it but I was entertaining the idea).

So ... any idea when motormaster will be coming out? And you said he only has one trailer now, not two. Is that correct? Does he come with the combiner body still or will that be a separate purchase?

So the little button on the crotch probably separates the two halves for combiner mode. Hmmm simple yet elegant solution. Keep on truckin'!

I'm so hyped for the rest of these. Dead End and Drag Strip look absolutely fantastic.

I much prefer XTB's Dead End over FansToys', too - okay, the robot modes are quite close but I like how 598 got the leg shapes looking "normal" on the XTB one, so that the flat side is still on the inside, unlike the FT one. I also think the vehicle mode looks much more realistic and ultimately less flat, round and cartoony than the FansToys Dead End.
But I think they both look so close that there's not much point in saying one is better than the other - all I know is I prefer the smaller robot modes and they're cheaper than the FansToys Stunticons, plus the first two are fantastic figures, so that's all I need to know to decide.

    These can't come soon enough!
I was going to post this too but you beat me to it! :lol

Yeah, it definitely looks like a button, so that explains that.

Will Motormaster’s trailer be painted silver or grey?
Also, will combined form still have lights?

You can see the button on Dragstrip too. It's a little more subtle but it's there.

Who flishing cares, he just revealed Arkose is in April baby, did you hear that, APRIL = ARKOSE (and the other 2 Stunticons limbs too actually) and that is ALL that matters. Go home, celebrate, live life to the fullest, and enjoy your ARKOSE in April (and 2 other stunticon limbs too while you are at it).
