I got a package today that needed a signature and had a mild heart attack thinking it might have been Megatron coming early. Turns out it was a different big purple bad guy MP (Shockwave+) that I forgot I’d ordered.

Shockwave is great, don’t get me wrong, but man am I excited to get my hands on Megatron. Can’t come soon enough.

 

Same exact numbers I have (+ 1,200 yen for s&h). Also in Alberta.

 

I’m assuming the duty is similar between provinces so it must be the sales tax which I believe is much higher in Ontario at 13%. Not that I’m bitter about that or anything.....

 

Just ordered BW Megatron and the Cheetor reissue from Amazon.co.jp (finally replacing my broken one, and for only 60 bucks shipped!)... SO much easier now than it was even a year or two ago, and free shipping makes it a steal. Gotta pray I don't get anything defective because returns would probably be an issue, but I'm getting this stuff a few weeks earlier for 25% less money so I gotta give it a shot.

 

Who else has ordered Megatron from anime export?

Just wondering if there is some others who did, then I'm wondering if we can keep each other updated on whether their's are ready to pack or ready to pay.

 

I did. Someone will surely announce they’re ready. You’ll also get an email around an hour or 2 after it drops into your loot crate

 

I don't think I remember that happening recently. I have not received an email from them about it being ready for packing for like ever. Usually I have to sign in to check if it's ready to pack.

 

I’ll be looking for him to enter the ‘Awaiting Stock’ section in my orders but that may not happen at all.
Can’t decide if I’ll go SAL or EMS either. I’m guaranteed a customs charge with the amount I intend to ship so it all boils down to just how much money I want to throw away to still get me Megatron after everyone else in the thread.

 

I guess I remember when I ordered Dinobot, it took nearly 3 to 5 days to have it possessed and then shipped. IT was mostly because I was a sleep when Anime Export was open and whenever I updated each process they were closed, then when I finally paid the shipping, it was already Friday and they didn't ship it till Monday. I just want to update every moment without going to bed twice.

I just converted Dinobot, Cheetor, and Primal into bot modes... they've been patiently waiting in beast mode for Megatron's arrival. I can't decide which I want to have them in when the toy gets here, lol. Whatta frivolous conundrum...

I expect I'll be too wrapped up in enjoying the 'new toyness' of Megatron to want to take the 20 minutes required to convert all three of the other Masterpiece Beasties.

Anybody else feeling this?
