Anyone have any updates on the reissue. I could have sworn it was being rereleased last month.

Kapow toys, and couple of slightly loose joints and he’s a little tricky to balance sometimes (wing are massive and weighty), but otherwise he’s good. Tbh I’m selling him now though as he doesn’t really fit with my collection and I’d never be able to afford gorirra. He’s a beautiful figure though

 

So, this week I realized I had a bit of extra money that I didn't anticipate. So I was going to get myself a 3rd party figure. I couldn't decide between Mega Doragon or the Takara Big Powered. Every day I take my nephew to school, so while we were waiting for the teahers to let him in, I showed him pics of Mega Doragon and Big Powered and said "Gavin, which do you think I should get for me". He said with a straight face "you should get neither for you but both for me". I ultimately decided on Big POwered, but there was a lot more thought behind it than money. I tracked down both and the price difference was only 10-15 dollars. As much as I really really want a Transmetal 2 Megatron, I'd rather have a beast machines retool (it would be super easy, retool the wings to be able to be removable, put the cryotek head on, a few smaller retools in the dragon mode to show battle damage, and parts forming for the arms and cloak) and there isn't a way I can afford to get both. I know PE hasn't said that they are doing a BM retool, but i'm holding out hope that they will. So i'mm going to start saving again, and if TFCon in the summer doesn't show off a BM retool, i'll pull the trigger. Big powered should be in my hands by the end of the week

 

It's a beautiful figure, you won't be disappointed.

 

Dragon mode is striking in those colors. It’s going to be tough to decide which way to display this magnificent beast  

 

Buy two and forget it.

 

I used to have both colors of the original figure---but ended up keeping both in dragon mode most of the time, even more so for Cryotek----ice dragons just look so awesome.
