Though keep in mind the individual toys are all different sizes. Fraudo is slightly shorter, Volatus slightly bigger and Probus is closer to FT's stunts.

Yup. Only found out recently myself. Just another notch on the belt of holy shit this toy set is going to be insane.

If Brawl didn't bend in half like he does he literally wouldn't work as a leg on this set, he'd be too long haha.

 

I'm definitely getting this set for the individual bots, I love their size!

 

Me too. I have zetas which is great combined and better in many ways than this but their bot modes and alt modes are not at all what i want. These look sooo good, and are closer in the size I want (closer to Carbot sized... not there but closer than ft/zeta bots)

They even got the brownish color, grey forearms, and the orientation of Brawl’s leg treads in bot form correct, which is unlike UT Brawl.

 

I wonder how much of it was improvement/redesign, and how much was "intentionally vague/inaccurate to throw off other companies".

 

I like Brawl a lot, too. I think MMC should have made his turret smaller since it doesn't serve any transformation purpose and looks too large in alt and bot mode. I worry about the connection ports with Brawl and Swindle. There doesn't seem to be much holding in the connections.

I think it looks fine? And it already telescopes in and out.

 

The more i look at this set the more i like it ..The funny thing is that they originally meant to be more Studio Ox style and now that im looking at them they look like they are the most cartoon accurate combaticons out of all 3 sets lol....My only criticism is that Vortex looks a bit too narrow in bot mode and there seems to be some weirdness in Swindles lower legs...Perhaps if the ankles were yellow instead of gray and the joint was not sitting so high...I wish he was taller in combined mode too

 

I wonder if OM will tackle any other combiners aside from Bruticus. I'd buy a Devastator from them over FT because I know an OM Devvy would actually be fun to transform (going by their previous releases).

The legs on Blastoff and Brawl look pretty bad in botmode but that seems to be the compromise that has to be made to hide combiner fists and feet inside the bot. We always knew there would be some compromises. They look like they're wearing skirts or some avante garde '70s futurist pants. Not sure I can dig that, or that it looks even as good as existing options.
