Looks like there's a limited edition for double the price, too.

"This deluxe limited edition comes packaged in a beautiful collector’s box with an exclusive variant cover design and five gorgeous and frame-ready prints showcasing art from across the franchise!"

    The official Amazon description says:

One of the world’s most popular franchises, Transformers has been delighting fans since 1984. Now, in this deluxe hardcover celebration, Hasbro reveals behind-the-scenes production sketches, beautifully polished final art, and everything in-between. From the obscure to the iconic, this book features packaging artwork, animation models, video game designs, comic pages, and, for the first time ever, production artwork from all six Paramount live-action films! Lovingly curated by Transformers archivist Jim Sorenson, this is the most comprehensive collection of Transformers imagery ever assembled.

Like, that Transformers Vault book didn't really go TOO in-depth into each series, and had SOME cool stuff like a RotF red carpet IMAX ticket and a VERY small picture of that Binder of Revelation (RIP) so I wouldn't say this will be anything like previous books, because, unless I'm wrong, there aren't that many history books for TF aside from this, Vault, and that one by Simon Furman.

Also this book is 408 pages, holy sh*t.

I had the privilege of speaking with and getting my Allspark Almanacs signed by these guys at TFCon. I'll definitely be picking this book up.

Depends on content. It could easily be 90% Bayformers, while "covering the entire franchise". It needs to be at least 50% G1/BW/Animated for me to buy.

There's a significant amount of Animated and G1 at least. Lots of unused concepts from both, like the fabled scrapped storyboard from the "Cosmic Rust" episode that mentions the Matrix, plus Animated Swindle in a G2 deco.

You seem to be referring to the TFcon "Art of Transformers" panel that Jim and Bill hosted. That has nothing to do with this book. It was merely the venue at which they announced that the book was forthcoming.

The following is from Jim Sorenson, himself:

If this has a lot of stuff on the movies and has concept art from them then I’m so in for this book.
