Soooooooooooo.

Did anyone catch the TFA QnA panel who could care to summarize some of the points?  

 

Mainly, it was the audience asking questions of the panelists. Some stuff we already knew, some stuff we didn't. For instance, the fact that most of the stories and such were conceived during lunch hours. For the most part, it was pretty unremarkable.

There was an interesting point regarding the future of Animated. They said while Hasbro is constantly looking forward, they're paying attention to what direction the fans want to go in. They left it at they're still very, very interested in continuing Animated, but they need us to get Hasbro's attention.

 

Well, at least the possibility of a continuation isn't totally off the table... too bad we don't know how hasbro wants us to get their attention. Petitions are a joke and I doubt sparse e-mails or social media messages would do much, not that I think people shouldn't try anyway. Something coordinated might work (or at the very least make hasbro notice us for five minutes) but it'd take a lot of planning and advertisement by someone (or a few someones) who knows what they're doing...

Mainly, they said make a ruckus in the forums. The panelists reiterated the fact that Hasbro keeps an eye on fan sites, and the best way to get their attention then is by keeping the discussion going and by making it apparent that we do want more Animated content.

I also bumped the Animated toy thread with my first acquisitions. I managed to score a MISB Wingblade Optimus Prime!

 

Damn, nice! He's a really great figure from what I've heard, so I have no doubts that you'll enjoy him.

The only Animated figure I have is Activators Bumblebee, who just so happens to be the first Transformer figure I ever purchased. Lost my original one years ago, so I bought a replacement a while back.

 

Just as a heads up, y'all might want to check out this thread. It is our best, possible our only, chance at receiving Season 4.

Anybody here at TFcon today catch images of Animated Beast Megatron and Trinox at the production art panel? I was there for it earlier today but I wanted to have another glance at it. Saw a bunch of folks snap pics.

If I'm remembering correctly, Beast Megatron was a purple/bronze Grimlock with Copter Megatron's head with purple face, and Trinox was Snarl done in green and tan.

Yeah, those were cancelled exclusives. Alongside a Sari toy from Windblade. DAMN YOU HASBRO!

 

Sari's one of my favorite characters and I was so mad there were never any figures of her. Hearing there was GONNA be a figure of her (and a darn cool-lookin' one at that) before it was cancelled makes me so salty. I'll just put that on the long, long list of "Things I am bitter about, and will continue to be bitter about, until the day I die!"

 

Sari's probably my favorite character from the show, too.

At least give us a model kit, dammit!

 

I've begun rewatching it after 10 years. I was originally put off by the by the art style but now it Doesnt bother me as much. I've seen a lot worse over the years. I still think Sari is annoying though.
