Can also try asking your seller. I got mine from "baba" on eBay and they were awesome getting me a replacement part.

    Thanks to you both.

I prefer to go directly through XTB. I messaged them and also sent a quick vid clip of the issue. I already received a response asking me to confirm the left arm joint is the issue, which I confirmed. Hopefully this will be a quick process.

Going directly through XTB/KFC will certainly get you the part faster.

Depends. Is your Skid's right arm floppy? Because looking at your photo I'm pretty sure that is the right arm. Mine had his left arm that was floppy.

I wouldn't know for sure since I haven't transformed mine yet.

Left arm is floppy for me. That was the pic they sent, with the accompanying text "The joint of the left arm needs to be replaced. Please confirm if this is the part you need."

They messaged me back saying they will send the part but I need to pay freight. I replied agreeing and requested a totao and am awaiting the cost. Maybe when they get back to me I reply again asking to ensure the part is for the left arm. That would suck to receive the wrong one.

Here is the photo of the left arm part. I had the same thing with Baba and I'm now thinking that when they say "left" it means the arm on the left when looking at Skids head on. Not Skid's (Savant's) left arm which is the right arm when looking at him head on.

Thanks so much. So both those pictures are the left arm, correct? I think this might be challenging to explain so maybe I should send them the pic. Jeez.

Yep, both are the left arm piece. I just took a photo of both sides to help. I agree that it might be easier to send them the photos I took. Either that or ask for both arms. Hahahahaha.

It’s strange because in my initial email I attached a video showing the arm so there shouldn’t have been confusion. Anyway, I sent them the photo you provided, along with the video again. If there is still confusion then I will definitely ask for both arms and even offer to pay a little extra to get both and avoid frustration.

I truly appreciate the info and the help.

You are welcome. I did the same thing (video showing the floppy arm), but I just told them the other arm when they sent photos of the same arm piece you showed. Hopefully you'll get the correct arm now with the photo I took and your video.

Speaking of that new arm piece from Baba, I got one as well. And... does anyone know how the heck to separate the lower arm so these new pieces can be integrated? It seems like it is pinned on to the bicep, but it's such a tiny space in there I can't be sure. Has anyone had any luck removing that when swapping to the new shoulder?

    Thanks!

I did it and it wasn't that bad. Pretty sure it was just screws and the pieces all fell off. The piece I photographed was the only piece that they sent to me for repair. I had to take off the wheel from mine and then the forearm.

But yeah, it was really easy to repair if you have small screwdrivers. Think I can go take a look at mine again and see what I had to do tonight if you need.

Thanks so much for the offer! Actually I ended up figuring it out... but your post helped, knowing that it was just a matter of unscrewing things. Turned out I had just missed a screw; I forgot that his bicep hinged open in the middle, but as soon as I realized that I popped it open and was able to get to the last screw.

Amazing how much more I like this figure with the new, stiff arm. Just the fact that he can hold a pose is so satisfying. Now I just need an improved face without the thick paint, and maybe that headlight mode that removes the cat-eye look, and he'll be perfect.

    Thanks again!

Regarding my situation, I responded back to X-transbots last week that the picture of the part wasn't right, attached the picture of part @betsuni so graciously provided, and also included the video again. They replied on Saturday indicating they would send both parts, and I would need to pay shipping. I agreed, they provided the price, and I paid. I sent a follow-up email indicating payment was sent and included the transaction ID. I received a reply saying they haven't received it yet and would ship once received (all this transpired 4 days ago on Sat.). I sent a follow-up email yesterday asking if they received payment, and included the transaction ID again. No reply.
