Found Season 2 Bluray out at Target, didn't even know it was available. Again shaped as a VHS Tape. This time though one of those Blockbuster type vhs rental cases. Even has a be kind rewind sticker.
It depends on what mood you're in when you start it. Some people find it glorious, others find it derivative and over-hyped. It's dark, has a bunch of throwbacks to the 80s and is a love letter, rather than a mockumentary to what came before it. If you're in a retro mood and you like monster flicks and mysteries then you should enjoy this. If you don't, it's not the end of the world. I can see why some might not like them. Season 2 is definitely a ball dropper of a season in a few ways.
Haha, between that surprisingly stupid tagline and the guys all looking long & gawky now, I can't help but think the poster is just an allegory for puberty. The kid who plays Will looks like a damn 20 year now still rockin' a 13 year old's haircut. Hopefully they let these kids sort of grow up and change in this season as they should, rather than keep them with S1 haircuts & clothes again like they did in S2. It got particularly weird with the guy that plays Dustin.
I didnt see the rats at first. Hm...I wonder if the Upside Down will become a virus of some sort after the events of Season 2.
Yay ............. we have to wait 6 months still for this..... ........yay Also yeah this is a year later last season was 84, this will be in 85 If we get a Season 4 they can talk about how Prime died in the movie.
That looks really good. Not just bias because I loved the first two seasons (minus episode 7, we don't discuss that, it doesn't exist) but because this looks like it's really a solid season. There's plenty of joy, hope, and humor mixed in with the drama and sadness and it looks like while it'll be darker, it'll still have a pretty good balance and not push too far in either direction. Except awesome, it'll go in the direction of awesome.
Uhhh, 1985? Ultra Magnus didn't hit stores until 86. Stranger Things 3 = literally unwatchable In all seriousness, I really enjoyed most of season 2. The idea of season 3 having some Cronenberg influence has me incredibly intrigued. And just seeing Steve and Dustin being all big bro/little bro just fills me with so much joy. I can't wait!
