Don't forget all the gas/and or shipping cuz you won't be able to buy this all at once, you'll have to make several trips over the course of a year :p

Probably get announced after we've aleady bought 3 or 4 of the individual constructicons, unless you decide to pass on them and hold out for a boxset, in which case it'll never come and the waves you miss will only be available for jacked up prices. Midway through they'll rerelease unwanted repaints of the first ones which will shelfwarm all year long, and then the final figures to complete Devastator either get cancelled or released in extremely limited quantities. Fun!

I think it's great they're finally doing this thing, but I can already see it being both a blessing and a curse. Just making room for it is going to be a bit of a project.

Any chance we get a red variant of mix master to make the head more movie accurate?

Edit: Well watching the transformation sequence it looks like the red pops out inside so maybe its possible.

I have a Rampage that I bought this weekend at Target just break on me while transforming into his foot mode. Upsets me to no end! Looks like one of the joints on step 12 of combine mode instructions was glued together at the factory. I was very impressed up until that point...

Pics would be helpful since there aren't a lot of Rampage's in the wild. If we know what to look out for we may be able to stop ourselves from breaking things (and could potentially find a workaround) if we end up getting stuck with a glued Rampage.

I have two Rampages (modding one) and both have been perfect, WC-wise.

Here's some pics. Looks like glue residue was inside and around the joint. When turning the part for transformation it felt slightly stiff but it was the actual plastic twisting in half and not the joint moving as it normally should. The item was new in the box and hadn't been a return from someone else. IMG_3595.JPG IMG_3596.JPG IMG_3597.JPG IMG_3598.JPG IMG_3599.JPG

That sucks man I’m sorry. Maybe you can exchange for a new one and tell them not to put it back on the shelf?

Aw crap. That sucks. It's not even a joint you could've cut loose if you had known about it. Hopefully since you found it early enough in the release cycle you'll be able to score a replacement soon.

How reliable is Brickseek? I see a Walmart 30 minutes away from me with a few in stock. I'd hate to drive that far for nothing though. I'll try and return this one as damaged and get my money back.

I got lucky and the Wal-Mart I went to had about 6 copies each of Rampage and Bumblebee Optimus. This was the Super Wal-Mart in Excelsior Springs, MO if anyone in the area is interested.

That same joint on my second copy was also refusing to budge. I soaked it in some boiling water for about 1 and a half minute and it finally moved. I'd recommend anyone else do the same if that joint appears stuck.

I had a feeling that was going to to happen and the early 2020 for the remaining 4 was unrealistic.

    Meaning I guess.

Wave 8 will probably have a single voyager Constructicon and a single leader since there's always 2 leaders in the technical 1 wave of the new year.

Wave 9 - will probably finish up the remaining voyager

And wave 10 will give us the final Constructicon leader

I know i have at least 2 years to wait but i am curious to see what 3rd party addons do to this guy(besides the obvious wrencking bawlz). Maybe some hooks for hightower like what he used to grapple the pyramid.

Just got mine this weekend and finally found this thread before trying to turn him into a foot (because I remembered the issue but not the specific joint).

Has anyone else ran into this yet to confirm if it's a widespread issue or just bad luck? I'll double check mine tonight.

Don't think it's particularly widespread. There's been plenty of pics of Rampage in all three of his modes with no other mentions of a similar issue.

That's what I was thinking, but figured it was worth reupping now that he's hitting retail on a more regular basis. Also to see if it was a particular batch of them.

(I'm reminded of the issue with leader Ironhide from DotM where some of them had glued head/neck joints and others didn't. With no particular rhyme or reason as to why (if you had two sitting in a store together one may have it and the other may not.)

Damn, really want to know what he looks like. They followed the 4-legged or the 4-armed design?

Considering I don't much care for movie designs, I really love the Constructicons. I dunno why... maybe they are SO monstrous I forgot they were supposed to be the G1 guys. :)
Devastator is gonna be a very unique gestalt, since it is obvious from the prototype shown they are not designing all 8 members at the same time, just a few. Interesting.
