There is a feature called G1 Transformers. In it you see some of the models rotate (shockwave being one of them). They also show the Cybertronian seeker in jet mode rotate.
They definitely used Wikipedia. Wikipedia has cool little sidebars that give quick-reference info about things like alt-mode, voice-actors, etc. TFWiki (unfortunately) has nothing like this. For a wiki about Transformers, it's legitimately hard to find info about what they transform into on that site.
I like to think they're using these as optional earth modes for them in the sequels. Maybe Travis is planning to let us vote on each characters before production.
Shockwave\'s right arm looks as if it attaches to his cannon....a possible tank mode? His design clearly has some kibble that id like to see as his defined alt mode
I was actually thinking one that keeps the black colour and Movie Ironhide features, just simplified to this aesthetic. Nothing against G1 Ironhide, but it's a rather generic design. Movie Ironhide has a lot more visual interest and character.
Kind of hard to put in a deleted scene if they never actually made it. Knight said that concept was scrapped for continuity reasons before it even got off the concept stage.
...and thus Hasbro suddenly found a way to make studio series figures forever. Just do these figures. Really want Cliffjumper, another movie arcee, and I can't believe I'm saying it by Brawn, who looks like the most interesting of the bunch
Someone correct me if I\'m wrong but surprised Soundwave isn\'t there considering he kinda had his own miny spotlight and what not.
Comic seems to be operating under the impression that bumblebee is not a reboot, something we know to be false. Personally I’m not paying it much mind.
They look cool especially Arcee. Seeing these in depth now it's clear that depsite being strongly G1 influenced they're really not just carbon copies of the original G1 designs as I once thought they did which is good. It'd be sweet if they do get SS figures in the future. It's good that the people who want to see more G1 designs in the movies are now getting what they want. Also like how they reference the other modes they have in other series I wasn't expecting them to do that.
