"This operation was my idea and these troops are my to command, I outrank you Overlord. And also return to us, you're now too damaged to fight." Straxus commed back. He then turned to his men. "Fliers and pilots, attempt to seize their biggest ships, they contain the largest amount of extracted energon from the refinery." --- Smokescreen ran to the landing pod, just in time to duck behind the ship as Counterpunch and Arcee began fighting. Astrotrain ran towards the two, to help his comrade. --- "I defected! Don't associate me with them any more." he replied to Magnus, staring him right in the optics. "He came to us, I and First Aid patched him. I vouch for him, at least for now." Laster replied. --- "I'm behind you." Starscream replied, as he stood just behind Soundwave. --- The ship landed near the Kaon Prison Complex, the landing pad expanded and many troops came out to escort Megatron and his subordinates.
"Motormaster is in the repair bay." Motormaster replied. "I'm in the hangar." Blitzwing stated. Thundercracker walked into the bridge room and bowed. "Thundercracker reports his presence." --- "Let's get put of here first and then we'll decide what to do with the defector!" Slag stated. --- As Sideswipe prepared his camping area for the night, he heard noise outside. He took his rifle and stood alongside one of the windows on the second floor of the building. He glanced out of the window to see if anyone's outside but no one was in sight. He waited a bit to see if something will be heard again... then nothing. He finally gave up and went to the lower floor to see if anything by any chance has gotten through the barricaded door. And there stood Ironhide, who was badly damaged from the crash earlier today. "Hm... I thought the city got evacuated?" he spoke. "Everyone retreated to Point Omega, but I don't have any transport to get me there in time." "I do." he smiled and turned towards the still barricaded door. "How did you get in he-" Before he could continue, the ground shook and the building started moving, clearing path for what looked like a missile silo below it. "What in the name of Primus is this?!"
Counterpunch rushes over to Arcee and 'scans' her "She is still alive, I need to take her swiftly and I will think of a plan to talk her into believing it was a dream." He turns to Astrotrain "She is high enough up the chain of command that capture could lead to the Autobots finding out my true intentions and killing her could make her a martyr. It is better for me to take her and suggest that she didn't fully see what she did." He smiles as a small needle came out of his finger "Luckily I got that Mnemosurgeon upgrade years ago." --- Impactor nods "For once I agree with a dinobot fully." --- Bludgeon begins a scan on the ground "I haven't found much in the form of energon that is salvageable in the outskirts of the debris."
"Do you really want to face me?" taunts Overlord. "You've seen what I can do." --- The flier Snaptrap was holding onto dropped him off in the hangar of Straxus' ship, before joining the assault on the Autobot fleet. Snaptrap progresses to the bridge. "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?" yelled Snaptrap. --- Magnus keeps an eye on Dead End, not completely convinced, before looking at Cliffjumper. "How are you feeling, soldier?" Magnus asked. ===== "Your welfare is of less concern to me, Starscream" Soundwave coldly stated. "Lord Megatron, all units seem to be accounted for." Soundwave would then deploy his cassettes to allow them to stretch their legs and wings. Ravage lands on the ground, and patiently waits. Wingthing, meanwhile hovers in place, waiting for follow Soundwave's actions. --- Sunstorm and Drag Strip went to fetch Scattershot, weapons drawn to escort him off the ship. ===== Arcee wasn't sure this would pan out, but faked being comatose.
"Look at you! You are in no shape or form to fight right now, return to us at once!" Straxus closed his comms and turned to adress Snaptrap "We'll be destroying the last of the Autobot troops in this area but we also have to secure what energon they got out of the refinery before that maniac blew it up!" --- The escape shuttle made its way to one of the larger Autobot crusers at the back. "Aye, could have been better, I suppose..." Cliffjumper looked really tattered up. "The Decepticons are nearing us, Magnus! We need to get inside the ship, can't you steop on the gas?!" Grimlock roared. --- "Excellent." Megatron replied as he got up "My Decepticons, today we mark a great day for the Decepticon Empire, the Autobots have been obliterated and what other forces they have left are scattered and few. I must congratulate each and everyone of you for making this possible and securing the Decepticons' victory and eventual rule of Cybertron!" Ratbat hovered by Soundwave's side. Starscream glared Soundwave, seemingly wanting to choke him to death. He then walked down the corridor and exited the ship, followed by his troops. As he stepped out of the landing pad he was met up with Shockwave. ((@CyberRavager)) --- The Autobot dropship eventually got to Point Omega. "This is it, Debris..." Optimus stated as he looked out of the window. Debris was an old military outpost, which was then turned into a refugee camp during the start of the war. Now it was the Autobots last line of defense and saveheaven. "We dug tunnels beneath it until they led us to naturally formed caves, from there on small teams were sent down there and charted most of them. That's what we will use for transporting, transmitting and travelling." he added.
"No need to shout, Grimlock." Slag tried to calm down his brother-in-arms. --- "So we're going underground?" Stakeout asked. "Seems like the most logical choice." Braver added "Since now 99% of the planet is under 'con territory." --- "Lord Megatron!" Shockwave saluted "I have much to report, I've made a huge progress in the scientific development you requested."
"Uhh… I'll let you chew him out" said Snaptrap. "I'll just do my business around the ship... far away from Overlord." --- "Right" said Magnus. "Impactor, get Treadbolt to prepare the fleet for full retreat. Point Omega. All shuttles, get to our fleet, fast!" The shuttles began speeding up towards the fleet, some being cut up by laser fire. ===== Soundwave walked past Starscream. "Lord Megatron, we should begin deploying Sky Spies over all surrounding areas of Iacon" he stated. "No doubt Optimus Prime will attempt to flee the planet now that we hold a large percent of the planet and have removed their city of command." ===== Roadbuster jumps off the dropship. "Home sweet home" he says. "Been so long since I've been here. Wonder if Impactor left the heating on before he got reassigned to Toraxxis." Bumblebee leapt off, keeping quiet. Strafe landed besides the shuttle. "What do we do now, Prime?" Strafe asked.
"Right." Grimlock replied sat down and cooled off. Magnus' shuttle boarded one of the larger ships. --- "The place got renovated from what you last saw, Roadbuster. Most of the new tech is settled underground but everything above the gates is still usable but it will surve as a decoy in case Decepticons come this way." Optimus explained as he walked towards the building. "Where will our ships go?" Hot Rod asked. "At the end of these plains, there's a hidden gate made for our largest cruisers, even the titan Omega Supreme can fit in there. The tunnel leads to the core of our underground base where we'll be situated." --- "Indeed we shall. Soundwave you can take care of that, can't you?"
As the shuttle landed in the hangar, Slag got out. "Grimlock, let's head for the cannons to repel the oncoming Decepticons!" he shouted as he sped towards a door nearby. --- "The new armor shells are a success." Shockwave replied "My first specimen was a Decepticon soldier from the trenches over at Toraxxis, which is secured as far as I know. My underground lab there is disposed of as ordered." --- "This whole place is more than meets the eye, isn't it?" Braver stated "How long did it take for you to accomplish this?" Stakeout observed the desolate perimeter. "It looks so empty out here."
As the shuttle landed, Magnus stepped off. "First Aid, Laster, Groove, Slug, move the injured to medibay" he ordered. Magnus heads to the bridge as First Aid and Groove slide Blacker onto a stretcher and carry him to the medibay. ===== "What happens if the cons find us here though?" asks Strafe. "Where do we go from there?" Roadbuster heads on inside. He heads straight to what was formerly the Wrecker's rec room. Somebody had cleaned up the shot up dummies and converted it into a storage room. He shifts a few canisters, and there was a number of names scratched on the door. "Heh" said Roadbuster. "Still here." He rubbed his hands over the names on the wall. Threnody. Rav. Mol. Tap-Out. Crest. Bulkhead. Trudge. Blocker. Valve (This one had been crossed out). Hyperion. Trapper. Ramulus. Sixknight. Impactor. Roadbuster. Topspin. Twintwist. Whirl. Broadside. Springer. Pyro. Strongarm. Guzzle. Ironfist. Rotorbolt. Lockout. Trawler. Some of them were dead. Some of them were out there, fighting. One of them, it was better if they were dead. "Wish I knew where you guys were" he said. ===== "Affirmative" said Soundwave. Soundwave opened a holographic screen, and begins activating Sky Spies to scour the planet.
"Coming! Grimlock shouted as he ran after Slag. "What about me?" Dead End asked Ultra Magnus. Laster nodded and waved to nearby soldiers to bring a carry. --- Optimus paused before turning to look Strafe. "We have a couple of starships below ground, always on stand-by. And the tunnels lead to the outside, on different places through all of Cybertron. There may be other soldiers scattered around the planet, we'll try contacting any remaining Autobots and set up recon cells." "Let's head in." Hot Rod walked inside. The main entrance hall was still looking as the same rundown place as it was before. He hadn't seen this place but from what he saw, he wasn't impressed. "Yo, Buster, when you told me I wasn't cut for a Wrecker, did you mean that I can't litter the place?" Hot Rod joked. --- Astrotrain walked towards Counterpunch. "Do you want me to help you escort her to you-know-who?" Smokescreen ducked behind the landing pad. "I'm in position." he commed. --- Scattershot was tied down to a table, with parts of his armor detached and an inhibitor spike, just being attached to his mouth. --- "If you made that work, then the Pretender Protocol should be initiated and volunteers should be gathered. I leave that to you, I believe you can handle it." Megatron replied as he walked past Shockwave.
Slag got to the right anti-aircraft cannons and got into one. "Incoming!!!" --- "It's something at least." Stakeout muttered as he slowly walked to the entrance. Braver followed. "Let's go inside." Blades patted Strafe on the back. Soon enough above the wasteland around Debris, atretched a large shadow. It was a silver and red star ship, the Wreckers ex-flag ship, Xantium. It landed right by the building and Sideswipe walked down the ramp. "You won't believe where and how I found this bad boy." Sideswipe shouted excitingly. --- "Affirmative, Lord Megatron." Shockwave saluted."
Counterpunch shakes his head "Help me move her into the ship. I know how I can keep the operation safe without the Autobots getting suspicious." He shows a small chip to Astrotrain "This is a spy chip, it will let me record everything she hears and says, with her being high enough up the ranks we can get far more information this way than if we take her away." Let them take her.... she is a nuisance.
Ultra Magnus stops. "I can stop by the cells" he coldly says. He then grabs Dead End's shoulder and begins to shove him towards the holding cells. ===== "Wreckers don't bother with clean-up" said Roadbuster. "We have someone else to do it for us." Strafe follows Blades inside. ===== Sunstorm looked down at Scattershot. "What do I do with him?" he asked. ===== Arcee remained still.
Grimlock mounted one of the anti-aircraft guns and began shooting the incoming Decepticons. --- "Hey, hey, hey! What are you doing?! I defected! I wanted to give up on the Decepticons for a while now." Dead End shouted, trying to pull out from Magnus' grasp. --- "Sideswipe?!" Optimus looked surprised "Glad to see you. I thought the worst had happened to you." --- "Who?" Hot Rod asked, rested his back against the wall. --- Astrotrain grabbed Arcee's legs. "Should I come with you for extra pair of hands and guns?" --- "He has a 'truth serum' inhibitor spike. Not only can he not transform but if he tries to lie, it will slowly extend. Enough to make his sorry spark regret the side he chose to be on." one of the doctors said. "Take him to Soundwave, he'll know what to do from there on." another one called. The third doctor put Scattershot on an automatic following stretcher.
Slag mounted the gun, right next to Grimlock and started taking down the enemy fighters. "Wanna challenge?" he turned to Grimlock. --- "This place looks like a busted old warehouse!" Blades stated, sounding unimpressed. Stakeout and Blades soon followed in. "Seems like a place that the Wreckers could inhabit, just from the looks of things." Braver added. --- "I found the Wreckers' ship burried beneath a building at the end of Iacon. You won't believe who showed it to me." Sideswipe said.
"Would you instantly welcome someone claiming to be a defector with open arms?" Magnus asks. He continue shoving Dead End. ===== Roadbuster throws a broom at Hot Rod. "Since you're asking" he smirks. ===== "I think he's busy" Sunstorm replies. "Any other sociopathic torturers available."
"I'll beat your ass, again." Grimlock said as he took down a couple of fighters who were shooting at the ship. --- Optimus looked at Sideswipe with some concern. Sideswipe sounded much more excited than normally. "Who?" he asked. --- Hot Rod caught the broom. "Oh..." He then broke it in two on his knee. "You won't make me do scrap, I have better things to do than cleaning a top floor, which should look dirty and uninhabited. I'll be waiting for Optimus to come in and lead us to the underground." --- "Point made." Dead End stated "But what will you do with me? Where should I go if you reject me?" --- "Try Shockwave." the scientist replied.
As they were talking, a huge decepticon was walking by, who stopped near them.. "There is always a room for a good old torture session, so you can try me for a change. After all, The Fallen himself approved of such tactics, blessed his name will be." saying that, Lugnut clenched his fist and looked at them, as all of his optics were focused on them, burning bright red..
