Finally Pre-ordered mine.

 

Just tried to check UK shipping as a test. Doesn't even work.

 

I had that problem with Canada. I messaged them and they said “it is a pre-order item that will be available in stock so skip the shipping thing and just check out then you can select shipping after you have placed the order.” I ordered it without shipping as a preorder then went into my account and selected the shipping option. Hope that helps if you are still interested

 

Or just choose rollers stash and you can figure it out with them.

 

It does, and I appreciate the help. I'm going to leave it as these lot will cost me an extra £30 in customs and VAT. My FT10X arrived today, valued at 15 dollars, with no additional charges, TCP won't do that.

Have you asked them. I'm sure they could probably lower the value of it if you email or message them. The staff tends to work with you if you have a request.

I don't recall seeing many of either exclusive, but I have no actual knowledge of what was left.

 

I don't know if this may be useful in the future, but just in case I figured I'd quote a bunch of these so that if it does many people will know to answer faster than I did this time, even if they don't all properly apply to this reply. The Chosen Prime is based in Arizona which does not have Daylight Savings at all. Since Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time all year round it was probably just out of habit.

They let you choose whichever you prefer.

I sent screenshots to Brandon last week that Paypal is not working right on preorder items if you "proceed to checkout" (it works fine for in stock items), but due to the timing with TFCon he couldn't get to it immidiately. However if you scroll down in the Cart instead of proceeding to checkout you can checkout with Paypal there.

It should be fine if you send them a message they should be willing to do it, though I don't know how many messages have stacked up in their in box while they were at TFCon. Honestly I would hope they would catch it and combine them on their own since it will be two orders going out together, but I have no way of knowing if they actually will.

 

I think they did an incredible job on this figure. It just feels a little more polished than the original release, similar to Maestro vs Downbeat. This has the wing fillers and extra details to make it accurate to the G2. It's nice that this one is actually available for people to order because it was a pain to track down Maestro.

 

Honestly Maestro was so good that's why I ultimately went in here. If there had never been a Maestro I probably wouldn't have had the confidence. I'm rapidly building a great set of G2 Masterpieces despite barely anything official.

 

How's the quality on your guys's copies?

I've noticed my screamer to have several major flaws, from loose/over tight joints, unscrewed thighs & stripped screws making it hard to fix, and fingerprints molded into the plastic, like someone had acetone on their hand and pressed it in.

 

Does anybody know what the left face is for? It does not fit Screamer and has a tab protruding from the back.

 

Maybe G2 Inferno?

 

Might tab into the Megatron strangling Starscream head that the original came with?

 

Didn't come with any instruction sheet?

More importantly, the fact that preorders are still available suggests that they knew this would be a high interest item and are willing to make the effort to help everyone who wants one actually get one without paying the excessive aftermarket mark-up.

Admittedly, that it was a convention exclusive of a mold I had little interest in made it easier for me not to want the figure even though it was likely going to be the only G2 repaint in an MP format. However, since they're willing to make it this accessible to me, I'm willing to support the effort.
