Thats what I had thought. Waste Gas was in Stock in November, I just picked up my Rally version of Wheeljack so I figured something is off. I will probably pick him up somewhere else if I can find him. Otherwise I will get him some other time. I almost bought Mirage but the Gitanes and the fitment bother me a bit too much in the photos I have seen. I may wait and see who else produces him. My next big purchase is going to be MS Prime.

Since I got into the If collecting game late, is this a re-issue, or did it just take forever to come out? Because I saw it was on preorder everywhere for months, and Robotoybase got it in a week or so ago and Toydojo Wednesday, but looking back at the forum, it looks like it was being talked about as if it was out last year.

 

Well, late in the game is a maybe on some toy lines. It seems companies like Magic Square are only just getting started. It didn't take me long at all to get caught up with their releases. Their legends Optimus isn't coming out until around July.

 

I found these interlocking storage bits at Walmart for $10. They definitely come in handy for storing and transporting my legends figures.

just a quick pic of my newest score...i dont know why but i needed a ghost starscream like asap for my trypticon. he is such a nice little bot that it kind of makes me regret passing on the IF seakers. but luckily i was able to scoop one locally.

Hell, I'd get it anyway. No telling how long it'll be until Magic Square comes out with Jazz.

 

I have...   and it has made me re-evaluate entirely future acquisition of NewAge figures - just minibots.
having said this, its not just a scale issue, while bb stands proudly next to legends figure in terms of posability/agility and looks the NA Prowl just looks like a very articulated legion scale toy.

The same goes for Jazz, ToyWorld Whiskey Jack came not only in the right size but the amount of details in the livery was EPIC and to the last detail, why I should wan't a porsche martini without any of the related rally iconography when ToyWolrd seems to have it figured out is beyond me.

 

Oh, I don't mind the lack of detail. It's usually not present in the original cartoon. I'm not a "cartoon accuracy" nut. I just don't mind a lack of detail on the cars since it didn't show up on the show anyways.

You sent me rushing off to TF Source to see if Whiskey jack was out. He's not (on there) but your endorsement made the price drop worth putting it in my stack.

 

Yeah the Deco from toyworld was insanely good on that figure for it's size. I opted for the IF Wheeljack though based on a better looking bot. I think it was the arms that put me off. But damn I wish it had all the Toyworld tampos on the IF figure...

 

I'm just going to wait for all 3 Datsuns to come out from Magic Square. $75 isn't a bad price for all 3. Plus, I know they'll scale perfectly with all my bots.

 

True, I'm just not a huge fan of Magic Square. I only have Sideswipe but I was very underwhelmed
