With the reveal of FT-44 Thomas (Astrotrain), is there still any chance of Fans Toys completing and releasing their MP Blitzwing this year? It really bugs me just how much Berserk has been pushed back and pushed around. Any word in status updates on this one?

 

My dude ... can you not see how they’re deluding the fan base at this point?? They’ll announce anything, throw up renders and then call it good for the next 2-3 yrs ... this is their 3P ‘king of the hill’ shit they’ve been pulling since the Omega wars w/DX9 ... the combiner game just lengthens their time horizons and allows them to throw out a release or two to claim the whole field in the meanwhile ...

 

Show me both S2 Triple Changers at coloured prototype stage in a review - and I might be interested again. But I'm not playing this game anymore, FT.

 

We already know FT21 is being re-designed, don't expect anything at all this year. You'd just be kidding yourselves.

Taking into account all the unreleased announced figures (14/15 at last count), Blitzwing won't be ready until at least the end of 2020, possibly 2nd quarter 2021. Same with Trailbreaker.

If I'm wrong well we'll see in 2 years!

The fact that none of their Thomas renders had him posing with Blitzwing is pretty telling I'd say. Their redesign of him is probably not finished or even started and he'll be out well after Thomas and all their minibots.

 

I think everyone needs to chill! I might be being a Tad optimistic, But i believe blitzwing, blurr, motormaster and silvebolt will be released within the next 6 months! I think we see 1 or 2 additional members from both combiner teams released this year!

 

People who like to criticize FT should go to TFCon sometime. I went to the 3rd party panel yesterday and when the FT logo was shown there were claps and cheers. After FT Astrotrain was shown, everyone was pretty much reaching for their wallets. MMC got a smaaaaal amount of cheers, but far from FT's level. Doesn't matter what FT has done the last year, right now they can be shitting on someone's head and people would be asking: is that FT-59? And when will it be released?

Thought all the recent bumpage was news from TFCon but it’s fine. Since there’s no news, looks like it’s a good time to pickup the Planet X Deszaras for now.

 ......but no. Dalianjj has been uncharacteristically MORE tight lipped than usual! I think we're due for an unexpected release, and i just have a hunch its coming!

 

Looking at the protoype mold on the first page, he's got quite a big back pack in robot mode. Like 50% of the tank is sitting on his back, and his legs look a little too slim to be able to hold all that, but I see they have him on a stand for support, lol.
Those robot mold shoulders are also unsightly, and they look like they will limit some arm movement.

 

FT had eventually released all but 1 figure. I don't care how long the stuff takes, I'm confident it will all come out eventually.

 

I think the fact that BlitZwing wasn’t shown with AstroTrain is very telling indeed.

 

My life is empty without a good MP Blitzwing...    

 

What was the reason for this having to be redesigned?
