Is there a website as a good ressource to see where stickers should be located, what should be included with the figure for it to be complete and how to distinguish fakes from real ones?

 

Try tfwiki.com for figure parts etc & toyhax.com for new stickers, to distinguish between real & fakes try highendtf.com, for sticker location try google.  

 

In addition to what RIDGE said, you can also try:

Www.tfu.info, which has close-up pics of all accessories

Www.unicron.com, which has instruction scans you can use to determine sticker placement...though be aware even the original instructions were sometimes wrong, as @Maz has pointed out a few times.

Www.transformerland.com has an accessory-ID function

Blue plastic under the chrome? Interesting.

My old Magnus was all white plastic (also, no windshield).

 

You had the later release also with plastic tires.

 

Sweet. It's obviously been well loved.

 

I was moving my shelves and decided to do a group shot of my G1's since I had to move them elsewhere anyway. As I started moving my pieces all into one spot I realized I've finally reached that level in collecting that I used to marvel at just some years ago. As I put my Prime and Megatron down especially, the widest of grins popped up on my face and refused to leave. Pictures like these of other peoples collections make my day so I thought I would do my part.



Needless closeup? Perhaps but hey I like both haha.

For a comparison as to how fast my collection has grown, here is a picture of not only my G1's but my ENTIRE Transformers collection five years ago. The picture is dated 11/5/14 and is taken on the worlds worst camera.

I don’t know about that. Mine had no windshield either, no paint on the faces but rubber wheels. Got mine Christmas 1986.
