Only certainty is to call. Again, it wouldn’t hurt. Initially, I tried the DPCI’s on brickseek which showed no stock in eleven Targets around my area. I thought I’d give it a shot and they were indeed in stock in at least three Targets after I called them directly and had them run the DPCI’s. Of course I didn’t call all the Targets. I ran to the closest one that said they were in stock and got my set. They were not on the floor. Nor was there a tag for them on any shelf. Not saying Targets inventory is inaccurate or flawed. I don’t know how it works and I’m not comparing brickseek to Targets inventory method. Just saying, these are hard to come by(so far). If you’re not actively searching for them now at retail, you could be paying inflated prices later.
Still nothing....... I have asked my local target twice this week to search by the dpci# and stills shows nothing.
I was fortunate a friend was able to get these for me cause I've been searching Targets for a while and nothing. I really hope these will continue and we get that Rocksteady and Bebop as well as Splinter and April. Along with those figures revealed in the Dimension X set consisting of Leatherhead, Slash, General Tragg, and Granitor.
What sort of milestone does Neca have to reach to release these guys as well as Bebop & Rocksteady? And any chance for the arcade versions to be released at retail?
All I think was said was that the first wave Target exclusive 2-packs had to make money basically for Rocksteady and Bebop. And watching Pixel Dan's interview with Randy at NECA, there seems to be hints of more figures to be shown at SDCC.
I would think there’s a pretty good chance Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as other characters will be produced. Current figures are flying off shelves, sometimes even before they are stocked.
True, though I hope the figures are being grabbed by people that actually want them and NOT scalpers. I know I'm grateful for having pre-ordered the Game Stop exclusive movie TMNT figures when I did as otherwise I probably would not have gotten them.
We all know with collectibles, often times sadly we have to compete with scalpers. In either case, and in the end it drives the company to continue the line.
Finally found 2 of these packs at to different Targets. Only picked up Mikey/Foot Soldier. The other Target had Leo/Shredder. I would love to see Mona Lisa vs either Filtch or one of his sea monsters.
If anyone is interested, I have an extra Toon Mikey for sale; willing to sell at cost plus shipping. Additionally, if you want the whole set (Mikey plus Foot), I'll sell that at cost plus shipping too. My house has exploded with too many Turtles lately lol
So it seems like every Target including mine received 2 different shipments of the toon turtles. Anyone got a third shipment to their target????
I don’t know if my local Targets received any shipments at all. I never saw them in-store anywhere near me.
^Same boat here, I'm not even sure my area ever received a first shipment..... If they did, there is either a ravenous turtle fan or scalper in my area. None the less, I'm am considering going on evilbay and paying a 75$ over cost for the set of 8..... I know I should be patient but that is definitely not one of my strong points.....
I hear you. I suspect eBay prices will come down a little more, though...seems like they already have a little bit. Maybe give it another couple weeks before feeding those dickless scalpers.
