West 11th Walmart in Eugene has wave 2 siege now. Had to leave them for now but hopefully I can get Prowl and Ironhide before they all go

 

Snagged the only Sixgun at Sherwood Walmart. There were no other wave 2 figures left there. Cornelius and 99 Walmarts both had nothing. The hunt continues.

 

Siege Shockwave and Ultra Magnus at Mall 205. A Sideswipe too. Nothing else new.

 

And I noticed Johnson Creek Walmart had wave 2 yesterday and the new studio Series Voyagers. Only a Ranpage and a sixgun left. So somebody got what they were looking for. And the hunt for that Prime continues for me....

I'm not gonna stress out wave 2 of Siege. Its the first wave of 2019 and before we know it we're gonna wish it was all gone so the middle of the year waves can actually hit the shelves.

 

Last I checked East Port got ANOTHER case of series 1 BotBots blind packs. Thats 3 cases they have now. And they only have botbots.

 

Man, sounds like the east side is getting all the love. Still waiting on some new figures over in Hillsboro, in particular Scrap Metal. I suppose Shatter too but more just to have something to represent her. I'm hoping the eventual Jet release will look better (definitely the 2nd pass at Dropkick looks improved over the helicopter but that didn't bug me much).

Got the last Studio Series Leader Jetfire at Fairview Target. No sign of DOTM Megatron

 

I got my Starscream and Soundwave from amazon today. I'm much more pleased with Starscream than I thought I'd be. The transformation is very clever in certain ways. I'm not super sold on Soundwave's ship mode though. It looks like it's going for an aircraft carrier kinda look which I suppose makes sense, but it means that it doesn't have many of the 5mm ports to really arm it up.

 

Does the chest piece on your Starscream pop off easily during transformation?

I love the tetrajet mode in person.

 

Yeah, annoyingly easy. I also think the jet mode is fantastic. I wish the chest piece was on pins instead of friction nubs. I hate parts-forming but I might just get in the habit of taking it off and putting it back on after transforming.

As of 10pm Saturday night, the Walmart out on SE 82nd had one Siege Soundwave and Ultra Magnus. I found it very difficult to leave them there.

 

Yeah....I wasn't exactly interested in DOTM Megs anyways. I got the voyager and honestly I still like it better.

Jetfire jamming together with that 2nd Prime voyager is a total blast. Picked up a SS-32 Optimus at the same time.

 

Yeah my issue with Meg is he doesn’t like balancing and he’s kinda fiddly but he looks good. However I heard on the TFW Podcast that the L shaped tabs on the jet engines that are supposed to peg into the panels for jet mode can just be cut off and the jet comes together better. Apparently they aren’t sized right during the design stage.
