Pretty sure toy spoilers means a figure or packaging art revealing something unexpected in an unreleased movie.

I'm surprised the person who posed that question wasn't called out a bit for wanting the hype to be more manufactured.

I'm really sure it's meant as we took it, given how I've seen Toy Fair discussions move over the years.

Giving an outlet 80% of your reveals' stock photos as Hasbro did this year is far more manufactured hype than having everything appear at Toy Fair in person imo

Yeah, I was kind of... impressed? that there was so much planning going into grabbing fast food, and so far ahead of time! It's generally just something I do in a moment of "I'm really busy and need to eat" or "I'm stressed and need some short term goodness to keep the abyss at bay"

I like the look of some of that nu:synth stuff, but they appear to have had super small runs.
I love the Astrobots and ordered up both the day you showed it off (they came super fast as I recall). It's a pity Toy Notch is one of those quieter lines. The only signs they're working on a couple lady bots next is a few pictures on their facebook taken months ago.

Wow, Devastator made it all the way to that series? I'm always amazed when original G1 bots show up in the late Japanese shows.

I know this observation is late, what with your next episode being long out by now, but what the heck?

I really like how you guys this time began with what you got this week rather than the usual news. Mostly because I listen to the podcast for toy news first and the toys you bought second, so having the less interesting topic (relatively speaking, please don't think I'm being condescending even though I sound like I am  ) first meant I found myself more engrossed in this episode than usual anticipating the "main course" of the recording, where usually I would be excited for the news and then sort of zone out during the latter half.

Do you guys think you will be able to revisit this sort of structure in the future? With News and Listener stuff in the second half and What You Bought This Week in the first half? Thanks for the years of entertainment even though I've only recently joined TFW. ;)

Maybe "on topic" WWG first, news and stuff then "off topic" WWG at the end might be worth talking over. I think it's smart if wee keep the overtly off topic part at the end. I'll continue to tangent into off topics as much as possible.

I miss the “on topic” wrestling talk at the start of every odd podcast.

i genuinely love this idea. WWG is my favorite segment, since the news is mostly you guys discussing stuff that's posted on TFW, which means I've already read it. Not that i don't get anything it if news talk, since y'all tend to tangent off into the history of certain characters and add bits of interesting trivia.
