I have Magna and he's perfect. I had no idea about QC being an issue, and in fact had no reason to think that there would be one. Good to know. Point being I've owned dozens of MMC figures and not a single one had a QC issue.

One figure having a major issue isn't something that would instill doubt in me, personally.

 

Hopefully we see a large bump from TFcon. Obviously a longshot at this point, but let's try to not dissuade people with pessimism.

 

You never know. If MMC sells thousands of penguins this weekend, they'll be flush enough with cash to fund Supermax.

 

The neck thing is an issue for Skylynx, but Fort Max isn't a giraffe.

My skylynx has 0 of the issues people have had. Everything clicks in tightly, he poses well, and is just badass. If fortmax is made that well he will be awesome. I'm just not sure I need another fortmax at this price since I have the upgraded PE already.

 

True, true... but the upgrade messes up the proportions (legs too short now too long) and the alt mode is a partsforming mess  

 

Comparing Warden to Supermax is like comparing Toyworld Orion to OpEx or Ultra Maximus. Warden is very outdated IMO.

 

Warden with the upgrades looks like the CW optimus/Motormaster.... All shin, no thigh... I'm buying this  

 

Agreed. I loved Warden when it came out but this is so much better looking and more accurate to the source material.

 

It will also be made with better materials.

I'm not saying Warden is cheaply made, 3ps have just come a long way since he was made.

 

But it will not be as well painted as Warden.

Yes, definitely. I know I've said it over and over but it also has those really unique articulation gimmicks. I would love to see more stuff like that in transformers.

 

Warden's alt mode seemed pretty perfunctory. I also never really liked the head for vintage fort max gimmick .

 

Haha yeah. My 4-year old watched the video and was like:
Son: "Dad, does that head fit on the Titans Fort Max?"
Me: "No."
Son: "Does it go on G1 Fort Max?"
Me: "No."
Son: "What does it go on??"
Me: " ---uhhhhh. It's just a head."

Warden is still an awesome figure and is very well made you don’t have to crap on that one to boost this one they are different scales and they approaches the design in different ways

 

No one is "crapping" on it. Calling it dated or indicating a dislike of some of its features is an earnest assessment of the figure. Not one person has said it sucks or is shitty.

 

Yes and anyway as I said, the paint will NEVER be matched. It will always look more premium.

 

I still really really really like Warden.

I’ll be sad if this doesn’t happen, but ... and please pardon my blasphemous useage of words ... I won’t be incredibly heartbroken if this doesn’t happen.

Warden + upgrade kit pretty much puts him at a very reasonable spot - scale wise - with other voyager brethren. He could perhaps use an extra inch of height (maybe two at max?).

I still think as beautiful and accurate as this character looks; he’s just way too tall.

Why on Earth is he the size of MMC’s Overlord anyways ... when there are still people to this day who still says he’s still tall (even LazyAza used to agree with this statement until he backtracked and began defending his height with the likes of many different Roche images from LSoTW).

The old way of thinking (which is still probably honestly correct) was that MMC wanted to cater and make sales from the G1 people as well, by making him the same size as G1 StarSaber.

You can pull up many images of FortMax and he is never this tall. He has a little bit of height on the likes of Ratchet. He should have probably been as tall as Roller should have been; but that didn’t happen as he was a mold share with Tarn and Thunderclash.
