If you turn it while moving inwards, it moves, but slowly

Knight Orion is at proper mpm scale, standing somewhere between 28-29cm. I’m not sure how tall UT Megatron will be

Which one scales better out of UT and TW?

Toyworld, by far, as he's 1:29 scale, scaling with the baseline mpm figures, like barricade and bumblebee (also UT lockdown, TFEVO Hot Fire, etc). It's best to base the scale off the smaller figures, because we never get downscales, so it's the only way that you can get a full, scaling collection.

I made a digibash a while back, to show how he'd sit with other mpm figures.
Rendsora and Hound are both about 3cm too short, but other than that the scale is pretty much perfect.

The angle is slightly off, so his legs look longer while his chest looks smaller, but the height is correct

Only Bee is MPM, the others are OS CHUGs style figures imo.

Yes, but i think that Nitro works well

Im going to add the next Black Apple Optimus Prime, which is supposed to be 29-30cm, and TungMung or New Age Soundwave 17-18cm, and the ToyWorld's version of G1 Optimus Prime.

That’s cool but I personally don’t care about MPM scale. I just want an Optimus and a Megatron that are the same height. TW is 28-29cm. How tall is UT’s Megatron? If he comes in around 29cm as well that’s perfect. I know TW’s eventual Megs will be taller than their Prime and I really don’t want that.

No? They’re all from AOE/TLK, and oversized to mpm scale. “Chug” figures are modern stylised G1 figures.

Bruh, that’s pretty much my buying list too
But the new age Soundwave looks like it’s going to be better

Yeah you're right, i was referring that they share the same problems the main line CHUG figures have.

How are ToyWorld transformations? I haven't seen them tackle anything this complicated and don't feel I've heard anything that specical l about their engineering. If it's a fiddly thing like El Cid, then I'll probably just stick with Challenger. A slightly taller robot mode won't be enough to make up for the transformation if it's lacking.

Seeing Challenger’s robot and alt-mode really made me worried that the transformation would be really tough but it was really easy and good! If TW pulls out a transformation that is maybe a tad more difficult then I will probably enjoy this and get it. It remains my only concern at the moment. Its alt-mode is not accurate IMO but I can sure live with it!

My experience with multiple TW figures (2 constructors, a primorion, an orionvil, and a coolsville) is consistent with questionable engineering choices, ridiculous tolerances in some cases, counterintuitive steps, and more than a few “oh god, don’t break!” moments.

    But they do look good.

Actually, the AoE mainline and Studio Series (and I'm pretty sure the TLK mainline as well) are officially part of the Generations line specifically to seperate them from the gimmick toys. Could be wrong about TLK but I know for a fact that AoE mainline figures and SS figures are labeled "Generations" on the box.

    Weird, but fact.

Challenger is a big figure and the same size as G1 Primorion. I think it's wishful thinking Toyworld's is going to be much bigger if any.

Both figures? You realize Challenger is quite a bit bigger than MPM 03 as well.
