I dunno, man. Based on how much I’m loving Transformers right now, that distinction is losing meaning for me.

Back when HTS did the ___% off sales, did that apply to preorders as well or just in stock items?

Finally getting a new (hopefully fixed) Combat Megatron! I had to call Pulse today after 2 weeks of radio silence from Consumer Care and was told Consumer Care never passed my ticket along to Pulse, meaning that I hadn't called them, I wouldn't have gotten a new one.

Question now is, what do I do with the defective one I've got? They don't want it.

What was wrong with your Combat Megatron? Mine was missing a heel and they want it sent back.

It varied depending on the coupon. Also, HTS rarely had pre-orders on things other than promotional/convention items (which coupons usually didn't apply to).

They have been? I got mine for 50% off from Pulse, which is worth the wait. And considering I've only seen them in *one* Walmart and they immediately sold out afterwards, I'm fine having my discounted guaranteed set.

I was able to preorder Siege Lazerbeak and Ravage a few hours ago. As soon as I checked out, it went back to OOS, so im guessing they immediately reopen orders for small numbers when people cancel orders, because I highly doubt 1-2 suddenly were available when theyre still preorders.

I think he means they haven’t put anymore of that wave up for preorder since that time it was on sale.

I think you got Hasbro Pulse confused with Robert Kraft's massage parlor!

I initially made the comments with slight sarcasm, as evidenced by the blue font and statement about perhaps 1st world problem whining entitlement is kicking in. But nonetheless there's still merit to my statement. So I’ll indulge/answer the questions commented (rhetorical or not...)
    1) The below screenshot was part of my order from hasbrotoyshop, when they also had a discount of 20% off items...
    EBC2A350-5A0B-47B4-BBE9-CD395B571B72.jpeg
So what more could I want? Perhaps some of that same treatment I got from HTS...

    2) They advertised the membership with such adjectives as "premium" and monthly. Now, true a full month hasn't elapsed yet, so it's yet to be seen what the great savings will be.

    3) Free shipping... well, have any of you used their eBay shop?
I've used their eBay store for many months, if not years, and shipping is nearly always free there, or with some easily met condition like, “free shipping for orders greater than $9.99.” Free shipping from the HTS eBay store saves just as much 'driving time' as free shipping from Pulse.

    4) what more could they do? Well, they could perhaps start by selling things at the same price (or better) than they did/do on their eBay HTS store. Coming from their own 'shop' they at least don't have the additional eBay fees. Also, there
have been multiple instances where figures on their eBay store were at DEEEEP discounts, relative to retail and their personal online presence. Marvel Legends for $9.99 or $15.99 on their eBay store when their shop was steady at $19.99 was a common occurrence. With HTS they at times had better deals, I'm just waiting for pulse to catch up, which in my opinion, they have yet to do. And why not also mention their eBay shop's discount of POTP Predaking to ~$127 then ~$63 (and maybe also a low amount somewhere in between)

    5) As for the siege line, I got a full wave 1 set of deluxes (plus 2) at 50% off from hasbrotoyshop, and while something similar was temporarily done on pulse, that was definitely, admittedly a mistake (which it seems they honored for those that got in on it); but I wouldn't chalk that up to a "premium" membership benefit, as it was done twice on HTS, one of which included the extra 20% off.

So yeah, 1st world problem entitlement & whiny-ness (as stated in my initial post), but waiting for them to live up to what they advertised they'd do. Free shipping and an accidental discount   don't equate to "premium" in my book:eek: , but I'm willing to give them time.

    Cheers

The super cool thing about this is that we can actually choose to use it or not. If it's not of value to someone, simply don't use the site. There are a bunch of avenues to acquire TFs.

I, for one, am enjoying it. For example, Pulse has already driven down some of the pricing in the marketplace. I ordered a bunch of stuff through Pulse but had Source Points to convert on TFSource. I've used TFSource for some of the vintage stuff they get sometimes or for re-releases. But, they offered Omega at the same price as Pulse with free shipping, so I converted points and purchased there. Point is, Pulse still had a positive impact on price in the market since you have choice where to pre-order.

Beauty of freedom. Don't like it, don't use it.

Not sure if this is a "perk" of Premium, but I don't see a link on the Pulse page anywhere. So, for those of you that might have missed free Premium, you can keep track of the Blog/News here: Hasbro Pulse

Right now it seems they grabbed previous Jabba's Sail Barge updates as well as Power Rangers stuff. The Omeg design is the first for TF. May want to bookmark this unless I'm missing where it can be found on the site.
