I would say something on the matter but I know I’ll get heavily opposed for not kneeling to hasbro, so.... yeah.

All this talk about wanting a better Shatter and all I’m asking for is a good Shapeways head.

Stil watching those eBay listings. It seems scrap metal is more rare and expensive than shatter.

I may be the only person on Earth who feels this way, but SS Ironhide isn’t that great. He’s better than any previous version but at the same time he just feels boring to me. I might sell him off in the near future

Yeah, I don’t understand why he’s so popular. Sure he’s pretty good, but he just feels like another Ironhide. Not to mention that egregious unfolded front bumper on his gut.

So I really like him because I don't have any other ironhide figures. Though I will admit that he isn't my favorite in the line, as there are others that I think shine above him. But I still like him a lot because he's my favorite Autobot (both in terms of design and as a character), and I think that DNA design upgrade kit will help me like the figure more. But for now if I had to rank all 13 SS figures that I own, he'd be around the middle of the list.

So yeah, while he a good figure, there's nothing in him at base to really make him stand out above the others in the line. I still really like him though, and strangely enough I find that he's always the figure I end up fiddling with the most...

Understandable, I’m sure we all have figure like that. I’m that way with TLK Deluxe Bee. It’s certainly nowhere near the greatest, but I like it, y’know?

I found him to be very hefty in-hand, despite the lackluster bumper and articulation the detailing in his sculpt is a strong point, if not the strongest.

It’s easy to see why he’s popular, but in my opinion Brawl is better, he’s quickly become my new favourite Voyager and feels much more worth celebrating than Ironhide who’s already got 3 pretty good toys in the last 11 years while all Brawl had were a small Deluxe and an oversized Leader.

On a side note Sentinel seems stuck with that same problem. His ideal size should be between Evasion/Battle Blade Prime and SS Megatron, but currenty he only has a tiny Voyager (as tall as SS05) and a Leader that’s too tall but actually pretty good. Hasbro wouldn’t even need to much more than shrink the Leader to Voyager size since I think his engineering is already a pretty good template to work on, just get rid of the boob chest and he’ll be an easy buy.

Haven’t transformed the two yet, but so far, I’m digging them both. Barricade has a fantastic sculpt, and I love the way the arms work. WW2 BB is an interesting case, with his kibble and limited poseability, but I don’t regret buying him.

I’m finally able to post from my phone more often, so I’ll hopefully be able to post more pictures!

Wait, so does Shatter suck?? That’d be super unfortunate :/ I was really looking forward to that one

Careful with the clear ball socket on barricade’s back. Mine hasn’t broken (knock on wood) but others’ have

Side note, is anyone still interested in that exclusive white LT-02 MPM Optimus Prime? I really like the figure, but I’m not sure I need it in my collection anymore. If anyone’s interested, PM me. Otherwise I’ll just put in the BST forum. Just wanted to give people in this forum an earlier chance

Yeah! But after that film, I'm scared that Marvel will feel completely different to me, considering that many characters may not appear again but who knows.

I can't believe it... YOU'VE BETRAYED YOURSELF! I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE YOU SAY THAT!

But I have the same wish as you now haha

Preorders for shatter and scrap metal are open at BBTS now. I wonder if other stores will post them too.

So let me give my proper thoughts on Jetfire now that I've owned him for a day.

    PROS:
    - Nice sculpt with a lot of detail
    - Splendid articulation
    - Great paint
    - Cool jet mode
    - Barely any kibble
    - No QC issues

    CONS: (These are small nitpicks)
    - Some areas don't tab together in jet mode
    - He needs new hands, he can barely hold anything and they look kinda strange
    - He needs more articulation in the head

Don't have the figure? Buy him, I recommend him... A lot!

I hate to veer off topic, but didn't they say they were going to take a new direction after phase 4? I kinda share the same concern, as I have a feeling most of the characters I like won't be around after the movie...

Fixed that for you ;) But in all seriousness, I second this opinion. He's really that awesome, and I haven't even gotten around to combining him yet! If you like movieverse figures, you would be doing yourself a disservice in not getting him...

I know the feeling, but what's the point? You're not going to destroy your current Ironhide and the second Ironhide could've been owned by a person who doesn't have the figure. I've been in the situation before and these points stop me from buying a second one. If it was for good or bad, it stopped me.

And do what you want, I'm not here to control you :)
I also won't go too off topic but they'll probably focus on Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Black panther, Doctor strange, many new characters and a few others that we already know. I doubt that we'll see Iron man (Nooooo) and Captain America (I still like him, don't worry :p ) again after Endgame. Not sure about Thor, Hulk etc though. It's Marvel though, I can't see them going downhill, I'm sure it'll be fine.

This is a great place to talk about it too! Avengers (4): Endgame - Movie Discussion

It's nice moving away from Transformers just for a bit haha

    Just a couple theories:

Jet Shatter - if she gets released she will have the maskless face but will be a pretty small jet. The maskless face will be on the same Ball joint as the car Shatter. (In the same vein as Shadow Raider and Lockdown's head.) So if you want to mod it so your car Shatter you can.

Movie 1 Megatron might be a leader class and include a mini Frenzy. Much like how leader Blackout had Scorponok and leader DOTM Meggers included Igor. I don't know how else we will get Frenzy.

My personal pipedream is that regardless of what Movie 1 Meg's size is or accessories are, that Hasbro would give us a new resized Scorponok and have his accessory be Frenzy.
