I’m guessing that’s a photoshopped screenshot with Starfox overlays added, but wow… I didn’t know it got that bad.

I only watched a few episodes throughout the trilogy. To watch any more I would have had to force myself since there was nothing engaging about them at all.

And on a current note, I’ve never heard of Rooster Teeth before all this news hit about them doing the Netflix series. What sets them apart and makes their involvement such an exciting thing? (This question is for anyone to answer, not part of my response to @Dugger

Just a heads up that I’ve removed some off topic discussion.

    Time and place. ;)

I read this news post as,

"Look, the trilogy is pretty awful... I mean, kind of bad...

... but I guess it's good that new people can suffer through them like I did?"

    :lol

I'll watch them eventually... but TFW2005 really shouldn't feel pressured to promote ANY TF program. If it's bad, just say so, and warn others away.

I'd still put the Omni dubs far above the Prime Wars cartoon. I'll take a bad dub of a good story over a good dub of a bad story.

    "Billy!"
    "No,call me Blaster now."

    "This is Unicorn!"

"I'm a ninja consultant for the Decepticons."

Is there anything that hilarious dub can't do?

I honestly keep forgetting that was a show that was actually made in real life by actual people and keep assuming it was a fever dream I had after an idw binge a few blows to the head.

    Wow… that’s… um… ouch.

I can almost hear the terribly written and stiffly delivered dialogue just by looking at those screenshots.

It’s a shame that some truly good voice talent was wasted on those productions.

They got Ron Peralman to voice Optimus Primal and Mark Hamill to voice Megatronus in Power Of The Primes. Neither of them really sound like they were very enthusiastic when they were voicing these characters.

That’s exactly what I mean. Poor voice direction and low-bar production value resulted in a waste of talent.

Here’s hoping that the new series delivers on the level of gen:LOCK.

Actually, I do have some idea. I attempted to watch the first couple of episodes but it hurt so much I had to stop. I watched some G1 to help myself recover. :D
