I honestly dont have any say, i was gonna say Nemesis Prime but im not entirely sure if he's post G1 or on that fringe

 

Bulkhead, mainly due to his Animated and Prime appearance being so lovable and jolly

 

I'll be real, I'm a slut for any and all post-G1 bots, but I think I'm gonna give my post to Lockdown. A slick cool design with a wicked personality and really brought something interesting to mainstream Transformers.

The novelty of a character who is actually dumb muscle and religiously devoted to serving Megatron, in an entire faction of scumbags and dudes who will stab you in the face because you turned around when they were trying to stab you in the back, is rather remarkable.

Does Beast Wars count as post G1 in this context? Even though I suppose technically it's now part of the G1 canon. If so that would mean there's lots and lots of characters that we got post-G1 that were really good.

To list off a few: Bulkhead, Lockdown, Lugnut, Knock Out, Barricade, Blackout, Sky byte, Yoketron, Sideways, Signal Lancer, SNOW CAT, Tidal Wave, Demolisher. If the Beast wars characters count, that would mean there's a lot more to list.  

 

Could honestly just list almost the entire cast of Beast Wars for this one... I assume G1 just refers to the original cartoons here. But a few standouts to me from a few series:

Of course it does. If you are going to discount later series because of a connection to G1, Japanese continuity would make you leave out a lot more than just the Beast shows.

I would consider Ginrai part of G1. He may have been exclusive to Japan, but G1 was still going in the US at the time Masterforce aired in Japan. So it was still the G1 era.
