    You are correct, they are NOT disappointing. I even like Soundwave's alt mode.

    Initial thoughts on Soundwave and Starscream:

    Soundwave is darn near perfect in bot mode, aside from a sticky chest door. It doesn't like to open if there's a cassette inside. It opens, but I have to manually do it.
    Articulation is excellent, plus I really appreciate that the backs of his legs are solid.
    The pistol is going to Ironhide, as I'll never use the combined gimmick and I dislike Ironhide's missile hammer.
    Alt mode is decent. I actually like the space barge design, though I wish it had more 5mm ports to mount cassettes. I'll probably default it to a fan mode or even the lightpost, but at least I do like the stock alt mode.

    Starscream is pretty amazing, with the only downside is being that stupid chest piece that is barely attached. Man, that should have been pinned from the get go.
    Love the alt mode, and the bot mode is 1000% pure Starscream.

    Siege line totally reignited my collecting. I always hated how cheap Hasbro would go with quality / paint in the past. Now they are great toys for a fair (if slightly inflated) price. I’m a big fan of the voyager / leader sizes- as I don’t have tons of room to display.

    I love the MP leaders I have, but sometimes they are a bit too big and cumbersome.

    I can’t wait to find starscream and soundwave!

    Anyone planning on painting their Starscream's face gunmetal? I'm either going to do that or wait until Thundercracker drops so I can swap the heads. The more I see the SS stock head, the more appropriate it seems for Thundercracker anyway.

    Has anyone checked to see if starscream's head comes off with the back screw? Or does that just remove the light piping?

    Both of these guys are fantastic.

    Six gun is WAAAAYYYY better than cog.

    Ironhide would actually have room for something in his trunk if his feet folded down

    he really is a great blaster figure, glad i picked mine up about a year ago when i initially was going to use music label soundwave as my soundwave (just before the siege one was shown off :mad: )
