I just got my Lost Light colors version with the new molded hands.

I'm noticing they don't fold away as well for alt-mode because the new tab gets in the way. Am I missing something? How are people positioning the hands for alt-mode?

If this has already been discussed, please let me know!

Huh, so they're still in business after all? Looks good but I wish the Lost Light version was more readily available because I missed out (and didn't pre-order because I thought the new hands were still "coming later" like with the original release, which of course has yet to happen).

 

I like it!

 

glad to see the company is still around. This figure had some issues, but I really liked it.

 

From what I've heard here, the Lost Light version fixed a decent amount of the issues, so the new one should have the fixes too. It's a shame they haven't done a reissue of the original release with the fixes, and I'm still waiting for the replacement hands that they promised...

But yeah, I'm glad they're still around too.

 

I have the MMC regular Rodimus but assuming the SG isn’t annoyingly exclusive or cost prohibitive I may get this...

 

Just once can we get the MP09B deco as a repaint? It's so gorgeous!

As to this, it's decent. I don't like the mold enough for a third purchase unless it's crazy cheap.

I have been wondering if they’re still around. As their Rodimus is more accurate to the source material (and he has an actual neck, too!) and I much prefer their version to the more solidly built, but less accurate MMC version.

So this is what they’ve been spending their time on .. really weird. Who even wanted this? We’ve been waiting a long time for Nautica...

 

I hope they do a reissue of the Rodimus version. I really want to pick one up but it's like no one has him anymore.

Honestly, I feel bad for SXS. Their toys are good but holy shit they remind me of Sideshow bob and fakes with their luck. Every time they release something an official or more well known company releases the same version.

Still on the fence about this with the mia replacement hands... Is the original worth it for $50 including shipping? Does fixing the tight joints require taking then apart, or is it just the matter of dripping some wd40 or whatever into the gaps?

Picked this up recently and unfortunately I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought. Anyone interested, hit me up.

 

He is being clearanced out. You can find him on ebay for under $50. I got mine from China before shipping for $30. I don't see them doing a reissue anytime soon. I don't think their two minibots did very well. I have sinking suspicion that this company may not be around for much longer. I really like their Rodimus and Blurr so I hope I'm wrong.

 

Thanks for the heads up, especially on their Blurr. I'll have to order both of them then come payday.
