I grabbed the Ironhide.

I didn't recognize the fella that grabbed the Prowl. He was tall and in a baseball cap, but I don't think he was neeral. There are a few tall bearded guys that collect transformers in the area. I think that's why I confuse some of you at times.

Fair Lakes, Chantilly and Dulles Landing had nothing. At least when I was there.

 

You're only the second person from these boards I've run into irl (that I know of), but when we got out of our cars at the same time I recognized the purposeful I Heard There Was New Plastic Robots Somewhere In This Building Walk, because I was probably doing the same walk, haha. And then when we got inside the store I saw you veer off out of the corner of my eye, and I had this surreal moment of "Ah, I see, the old 'cut through the seasonal/impulse garbage section to get to the toy aisle 4sec faster' trick. But what if I were to... keep going the way I was already going, but speedwalk slightly faster with a more determined facial expression".  


I was like 75% sure they'd be gone already, but it was the first Wave 2 sighting at a Walmart that I actually go to sometimes, so I had to take a look.

 

I did also run by the smol Walmart at Tysons West this morning, but it was (unsurprisingly) just empty pegs. It's one of those Walmarts that will just completely neglect its TF section 95% of the time, and then randomly get one or two cases of whatever the latest thing is, once, and then never restock them.

 

I don't think I've ever found anything in that Walmart. It's smaller too so I figure there's a difference between regular Walmarts, Supercenters, and the small ones like Tyson's West.

 

I probably walked by you at Mosaic Target and Victort Comics a few times without realizing who you are.  

 

Yeah, it's kind of a crap shoot. Most of the time it's nothing, or just a couple of pegwarmers. But it's also where I got both Combiner Wars Leader Megatrons before they had shown up elsewhere in the area. And same with a few of the CW / TR combiner limbs. And it's the closest Walmart to me, so I still check it at least a couple times a month.

This is probably true, given that I go to Mosaic District for food and/or boredom purposes about 4x per week, haha.

 

I had the same feeling. I was goal oriented. I was on my way to a work related engagement in Landsdowne so I threw caution to the wind and gave it a shot. The Walmart on RT 29 in Fairfax does not even have a TF section; no pegs, no price tags, no aisle sign..... nada. The target in Reston has 2 Leader Jetfires and a Leader RoTF Megatron. I did not bother with the other two Walmarts as GoLion was kind enough to eliminate them for me.

 

Found the Siege Deluxe Wave 2 figures at Winchester Walmart West

 

Finally found (only one each) of Siege Soundwave and Starscream at the Walmart in VB on VB Blvd west of Independence this morning.

Went back tonight and they have 2 each of SS Shatter, Cogman and Scrapmetal.

 

Skyline Target: 1 each of SS Leader Megatron and Jetfire.

Seven Corners Target: 1 Siege Leader Shockwave, 2 SS Leader Megatron, 2 Barricade, 1 Sideswipe, 1 WW2 BB.

 

According to Brickseek, Dulles Landing Walmart, the two Manassas Walmarts and Germantown MD Walmart all got a new box of Deluxes in stock. Anyone want to drive over and see if they are the wave 2 figures?

 

Also, Ashland Walmart has at least 5 Soundwaves and 5 Starscreams. Whoa.

 

Yes Manassas mall had the Deluxes. One Sixgun is left. Still have yet to find Starscream and Soundwave though.

 

I stopped by Walmart Dulles landing and there was no signs of the wave 2 deluxes but they did have each of the new leader SS guys. One each of jetfire and megs.

They were stocking st the time though so they might show up today.

I grabbed a set of wave 2 deluxes this morning from the Walmart on Liberia in Manassas. Left a Six Gun and a Chromia with a janky leg joint/mold line behind. The other Ironhide and Prowl were gone when I got there. Still need Soundwave and Starscream.

 

Fairfax Walmart (RT 29):

1 Siege Ironhide
1 Siege Sixgun
2 Siege Prowl
2 Siege Chromia

 

Bet they're gone by the time I go.

 

I'm there now. All that's left is a single repacked Scrapmetal. Sad trombone
