Hello, just wanted to share my latest touchup project, ss32 Prime. The figure is good but lacks paint apps. I went ahead and added paint apps to his head, his windows, side mirror, silvered parts of his hips, and grayed his neck area. Also slightly mistransformed him to allow the gas tanks to cover the backpack gap and i do like how they ended up in his back. I would like to do more to this guy like paint parts of his forearms to the correct blue and red paint and darken parts of his legs. Still a work in progress. I will continue to update for any changes. Also thinking of buying the ss pprime toyhax decals for the flames. He truly needs it in his blue shoulder pads and chest. Update:. Disassembled the arms and painted it. Added more silver to the circle with the red and silvered out the cylinder on top of it. Also added blue to the bicep and forearm area. There is also a spot on the elbow that i painted metallic blue and gold. The gray forearm looked good so i did not paint it red. The feet were given a silver paint and washed with some black to bring out the detail. I was very mindful not to make it look dirty. Overall i think i am done.... The added blue on the biceps and forearms really add the look that it needs.

This is fantastic!! I have been basing my paint touch ups off yours. I found the black (grey) paint pen you recommended and it is working wonders. Can I ask what blue you are using?

Also might I suggest two red paint apps that should complete the paint job:
    - The lower parts of the blue sections on the inside of his lower legs
    - The wrist pieces that are currently grey, as well as the silver part of his forearm (it's red plastic underneath so the paint could potentially just be stripped)

I honestly don't know a good Red yet, though... the Michaels paint pen I have is far too bright a red (almost pinkish).

I am hoping Reprolabels does some good stuff for the flames... that's not something I want to attempt myself!

Thanks! The blue is straight up testor acrylic blue, ii wa surprised at how well it matched. I sprayed primer on its lid and brushed it on the part and then i painted. Also for the red bits, i felt that it would be too matchy matchy i felt that the silver, while not accurate, breaks up the red arm. For now i am ok with it. I think thr toyhax ss05 work for this ss 32 prime. I just want the flames. The elbow orbs are easy, mix silver with blue and just the right hue that you like. I think i may have to redo the silver cylinders on his shoulder, the blue part that goes up and down is scratching the paint. Might need to sand it a bit for clearance.

Hello its been a while but i kust wanted to share the progress to my ss32. I added gloss to his head, gloss to the gas tanks and added details here and there. It does need a reprolabels kit for the flames. IMG_20190428_104253121~2.jpg IMG_20190428_104007316~2.jpg IMG_20190428_081442672_HDR.jpg

This is great, by the way, do you remember what brand of paint you used on the silver color? and if you applied it with airbrush or brush
