Crazy how Voltron is still selling this fast! I figured the reissue shouldn’t be as crazy as the first release. I was looking to get a second set but I may just scratch that. Here’s hoping I can preorder Vehicle Voltron with minimal hassle...
That one shouldn't be a problem. hell, Go Lion was available everywhere until people started getting them. It is a very nice toy, best Lion Voltron ever. Vehicle Voltron was nowhere near as popular as Lion, as far as I can tell. I could be wrong, but most toys up to this date have been all about Lion.
I missed the first release because Fanstoys omega was coming out and I chose him instead. Then after seeing all the reviews I regretted not picking up the SOC Voltron when I had the chance. I was quite nervous I’d miss the reissue as well when the foreign sites sold out instantly. I was lucky enough to get an order in yesterday with bbts though so I’m happy. Although I’m more looking forward to Dairugger because he’s the toy I had growing up and currently. I hope I get in on that preorder when it’s announced. These two will look fantastic together.
My trigger finger was itching yesterday with those LV POs, but I opted not to get one. I just hope Dairugger is easier to obtain...that's the one I really want. I have the Matchbox, Playmates and Minipla versions, so, I think I'm actually good on LV for the time-being.
You could try to get your hands on the Icarus Voltron or Mad Toys Voltron. Both are made with decent die cast and have a premium feel to them. I had the Mad Toys one and only sold it after I got the SOC. I regret selling it as it is a really fun version with tons of accessories. You should be able to find one on ebay
I have literally STILL missed every pre-order you guys are linking to. Please keep linking, I'm bound to get something! Sucks that I have to sit at work all day, and actually do work, instead of looking for Voltron. But I guess I gotta pay for him somehow once I finally find a pre-order that isn't sold out.
So I'm here thinking "Bandai gonna Bandai" just like Mattel gonna Mattel...anybody know the origin of that phrase?
