How did Optimus escaped after being surrounded by 12 or more decepticons in Bumblebee

    Hopefully it's something that will never be officially explained because whatever they come up with will never be as cool as how your imagination has filled it all in. Mine tends to run towards something like the John Wick movies, the Raid, or Atomic Blond.

    I prefer to think he had some magic beans that some poor old Cybertronian beggar sold him, and when he was surrounded he quickly planted them where he stood and was suddenly thrust into the air by the mighty beanstalk that grew on the spot, forcing the Seekers to fly up after him into the clouds while the other 'Cons climbed up in pursuit where they all got swatted away by a giant.

    Well, either that, or the Wreckers rescued him.

    Maybe the decepticons bringing down the launch tower made the area unstable, and Optimus either demolished another, teetering building, or destructed some supports underneath to escape through the rubble or to a deeper level of Cybertron where the seekers would have trouble following him. It would have been odd for him to not have an alternate escape plan when the Autobot launch facility was being overrun and he'd already lost air superiority.

    I agree - it's one of those things that's building up its own mythology, to the point that an official answer would have to be Monty Oum meets Doom 2016 levels of insanity to not be a letdown.
