Got Turben the other day for a great price. He might not be all that accurate to the source material, but god is he a gorgeous figure.

I would totally buy a Guzzle but I have no interest in a Brawn repaint of the mold. That's why I haven't jumped on this.

 

For my wreckers guzzle is covered by the cyberverse figure from dark of the moon, for whirl I just like this version better than the official one

 

I put a hold on my CW Brawl to Guzzle project when I heard this was coming out. All he needs is a head so I think I'm gonna finish him now and move forward with my POTP Pyro project.

 

Hey everyone,
I took a hiatus recently, but got some cash to buy a new MMC Figure. I have narrowed down to Ater Beta, Oberon, and Turben. It is coming down to a couple factors for which one will bless my shelf.

However I need help from you fine folks to answer these questions.

1st. Which one do you like and why?
2nd. Do the have 5mm hands and ports. I have lots of 5mm weapons that I like to accessorize my transformers with, and picking up a some new M.S.G. Heavy weapon kits, Id like to know if these three figures can wield them with little trouble.
3rd. This is specific to Oberon, with him being the same mold and Turben, I would like to know if he has the same "sword sheath" molding on his back, even though he does not have sword. Secondary to this, can other swords fit in Turbens Back Sheath.

Thank you for your help you lovely people, and look forward to some of my fight dioramas in the future, hopefully.

If you're at all interested in the red Ghost Stray version of the mold based on SG Drift it will have more display options than Ater does and might be going on sale next week on mmc's site.

And yeah both molds have 5mm compatible hands. Not sure what you mean about a sheath on Turben tho? I was never able to get his sword to slot in anywhere back there. I know the rotors on oberon attach to where those tail wing rails are on turben but not sure if that would effect what you're referring to.

I'd always go with the stray/ater mold out of mmc's regular roster under most circumstance. I can't think of any of their reform toys I like more other than maybe carn and inventa. And even carn just isn't as fun to transform and pose as stray is. The car in particular is just one I adore because its like what if Batmobile but less bat themed
