I've cranked out a couple of Leozacks in the recent past, but I thought it was past time to make Screamer himself look a bit nicer.

Almost completely repainted, save for most of the red portions, as I was fine with that shade of red. Testors Light Ghost Gray was the dominant hull-color, with some Battleship Gray bits, and a mix between the two for a few other spots. The blue portions were painted in Testors Magical Blue. I also used portions of the POTP Starscream reprolabel set from Toyhax.

The head is from FOC Generations Skywarp. The large Null-Rays were cobbled together by me via parts-fodder, and have ball-jointed handles so they can easily be used in non-combined mode. The small null ray cannons are from Shapeways, via Ariel's Customs. The feet are made of styrene, and slot into the combiner port, totally replacing the "moon-boots" he had before.

    Hope you enjoy!

I was planning on doing exactly the same operation on the feet. Wow, on yours it looks better than I would have guessed!

I was going to ask what part you used for the feet, but I see they're styrene constructions. Great job! :thumb

Looks great man, so much better. I would've done the chest/cockpit in orange personally, but it still looks great.

    Thanks man! :D

Means a lot coming from you, man, so thanks! I'm pretty pleased with the way the feet turned out myself.

Thanks! I considered doing the cockpit in orange or gold, but in the end opted to leave it dark in reference to the smoky cockpit from the original toy. In fact, I've thought about painting them in gunmetal silver, but haven't decided yet.

Nah, I'm terrible at scratch building, and I barely customize anything anymore. This is great work! :thumb

So, I guess the new feet just plug in when you tranform him, and are removed for jet mode? I guess there's no way to make them permanent without losing the combiner functionality.

You know what, you exercised a lot of thought and restraint in planning the outcome of this and it shows. Very elegantly made! I love the grays you used especially for his face. This is very very good.

Those feet really make the whole thing look fantastic! Any chance of a wee tutorial to show us how you made 'em, and some pics of them loose?

Wow! I am amazed at how bad this mold looks but every update and custom has made it look AMAZING. Goes to prove that it just needed another design pass to clean it up and let it shine!
