No honest criticism is generally appreciated by confident people, it is how they improve. The best way to stagnate creativity is having people kiss your ass all the time.

The truth is, Hasbro will never be able to make a perfect figure, but they can certainly get close. That's why they rely on us to review the figures and post our opinions, for the purpose of improvement.

Anyways, back on topic with appreciation...

I managed to set Flywheel's feet completely flat (or as flat as they can get) and he's maybe a couple millimeters taller than POTP Battletrap.

I'd like to think the designers at HasTak, should they see the modifications some fans have done, would be proud that their work inspired such creativity.

    Agreed, and well stated.

We may not all agree on the "proper" way to appreciate this line, but at least we all appreciate it in our own ways.
With that, it may be best to move on from this before it derails further and becomes an argument about semantics.

There are soooooo many figures where Hasbro came close but a touch here or there just takes it another step. Whether it’s adding paint to rims or adding red where taillights should be. The figure with that for me is MILES better.

And, imho these threads would be much the worse if people didn’t post those updates in them.

    A small sampling:
    - paint to rims
    - paint to taillights
    - paint to headmaster faces
    - basically any CW limb accessory
    - sticker upgrades. (Cuz we all loved the quality of the TR voyager stickers :) )

You like these out of the box. Generally, I do too but let’s not act like that is always the case or, honestly, even the standard over the past few years.

Radicon Customs and 3rd Party forums exist. But by all means spam this thread with customs and third party stuff.

I'm enjoying the new stuff at least (which is about half the line).

Really enjoying the smaller figures. Battle Masters and Micromasters have been a lot of fun.

I like Skytread and Cog, Looking forward to Brunt and Ironhide.

Shockwave was pretty good. Been troop building my shockwaves since Dark of the Moon. I figure it's only logical that Shockwave would have an army of clones.

Definitely looking forward to Jetfire and Omega.

Takara has some good stuff coming. Big Powered, Star Convoy and Micron Convoy look ace.

Looks a lot like a Battlestar Galactica Viper.
Also, the underside kibble doesn't bother me at all because they don't need to be aerodynamic. Cybertron doesn't have an atmosphere like Earth.
Also, with the jet pieces more or less being a shell, I can see the main body being re-used later on. It folds up to be rather compact.

it does. Otherwise humans couldn't walk around without a spacesuit like they did in the cartoons.
