Fucking reissue sold out fast. Did it even make it to when the west wakes up? I don't know why I expected different from the masters of manufactured scarcity.

yeah, no proof but when i looked earlier in the day re-issue was 37,000 and original was 57,000 but i could be wrong....
I can't believe there are some people that can hoard SOC considering it's price point. I can accept if a collector have 3 SOCs - mint condition - combined mode - lion mode But there are peeps even buying 6 units of SOC Go Lion. - 1 for display - 4 for storage purposes - 1 for profit fuckers...
Correct. Getter Emperor was originally 19400 at NY. They are getting really unscrupulous lately. I can understand jacking up the price after release but cart jacking your own customers and canceling their orders with the excuse that it is out of stock but then making it available at a higher price a minute later is complete bullshit.
Unpopular opinion, but I don't think SOC is the definitive Voltron. It is more of a stylized take on Voltron and there are still aspects that could be improved.
I missed the PO as well. Didn't know about it until it was all out. Probably scalpers got to them to keep those insane secondary market prices inflated. I might have to go the more pricey route with a domestic PO (if there is one). They have shady practices and I refuse to support them.
Bluefin was at Toy Fair advertising the reissue so their preorders should be coming from Amazon, BBTS, et al.
Bandai's not stupid, they know that lots of buyers will only be interested in Dairugger if they have a Golion to display with it, so I'm sure they'll make sure the reissue is widely available to help push sales for the new toy. It might even be smart to turn it into an evergreen item to act as a gateway drug for international customers to get into chogokin collecting.
