Nice and simple LED Matrix unit. It can be integrated in the vehicle mode. It's curious the original mold has the right space in his chest.

Really it was the only missing detail holding this figure back from being one of best OP figures to date, hell HasTek could've just put a folding flap with the matrix detail, and I would have been completely happy with it.

Now this new kit will complete siege OP, for me!

I’d check eBay regularly, simply because when news like this for something small and easy it might be available either right now or very soon.

I had a similar experience with the shockwave labs potp predaking sword, no sooner that it showed on the news page that I found it on eBay the same day.

 

Yes, they usually release these kits a few hours after they reveal colored pictures, so it should be on Ebay fastter than any other online store.

 

I wish these guys would start focusing on weapons again instead of lights. 

 

I\'m in on this, But Shockwave labs should go back to weapons, This is his 3rd LED kit in a row.

 

Maybe I'm being picky, but i would have liked a little more... or i guess any, paint application. I love that we can pull off some classic poses, but would a spurt of orange paint around the center really have been that much extra to add on? either or this is a nice little kit. I know a lot of people want Shockwave Lab to go back to weapons, but i cant imagine these LED kits are that intensive to design and produce. It won't be long until we see some more weapons.

 

People say to go back to weapons, but what could they give Siege Prime? He already has his Gun and his Axe (admittedly the axe is not accurate but still) with a built in Shield to top it off.

Only thing they could in theory give him is a sword but then...Why? Siege has so many weapons in it it\'s practically pointless.

 

really hoping there's wiggle room for that matrix in alt mode, seeing that the alt mode in the pics have the knee flaps closed. If that's required, then there won't be any towing ports for future trailers intended for this optimus  

 

Well, at least this one makes sense compared to the lights for Trypticon and the odd ones for Barricade that don’t integrate well. That hole sure is screaming for something, this looks like an answer to that call.

 

I keep wondering how easy it is to remove it when you\'re transforming him, because it looks pretty snug in there, but it\'s gotta be something one can take out on the regular when you\'re going to alt-mode. Overall, it looks kind of cool. Depending on price point, I might buy it, but that\'ll definitely be the main factor to consider for me.
