While I enjoy the idea of BB's alt mode being tricked out the rest of that stuff I can see why it never went forward.

I literally like art A a lot more than art B.

Yeah, it's weird to me. If you want to promote this whole "we've finally got g1 aesthetic in the movie-verse" you'd think they would IMMEDIATELY release all the concept art for the cybertron scenes. Especially when everything is happening so quickly you barely get a look at the Autobots besides Bee and Prime.

It might be less important to the concept artists than it is to us. I mean, they've probably moved onto new projects and jobs, digging up their art (which is probably buried in a folder somewhere) from months/years ago might not even be on their radar at the moment.

It kind of bugs me that we're probably only seeing a portion of the concept art that's produced for these movies. I remember that guy in the AOE video a month ago talking about early concept art they had created. I would love to see that, but it obviously never got released. One of the Bumblebee artists mentioned they did hundreds of Decepticon designs. I kind of doubt we'll ever see all those either. I certainly get that they don't want to overload their followers with too much art from the same project. I kind of wish Paramount themselves would find some way of distributing it. Maybe just charge 5 to 10 dollars for a collection on Google Play or something.

    Pretty much nailed it.
That and how much of the unused art may still be used as future reference material.
But eventually, it will all be compiled and packaged up for a consumer base. Not yet is all. But someday, like a movies 25 year milestone etc.

They're mostly waiting on one of the people in charge to formally sign off on that and do their last checks over what can be used for a book, and what should be set aside for use for later.

Mark and Josh Nizzi have the best ones. I guess they're waiting for the blu-ray release.

I really dig the half-tone eyes. One detail I loved in the Bumblebee movie was how Bumblebee's pupils and iris looked projected onto a screen inside his eyes.

    Who really knows.
I've been patiently waiting on the cybertronian art for both factions.
