Thanks guys, good to hear I'm not missing out on this. I do wish they'd included covers for those few screws on the plane fuselages of the first bots though.
It's supposed to come with a cover for each head. Looks like you're missing one.

    Wow!

They arent called TOY world for nothing... I mean Zeta really captured that Toy look so well.
Looking at your pics with the G1 toys, the resemblance is uncanny. Good job on your extra detailing.
Makes me want to get a second set to keep in Alt mode... will wait and see what FT has to bring to this table.

Have you considered painting Fireflight's rear canopy? It'd correct my biggest beef with how Zeta did it. (sculpted both, only painted one---looks odd to have "solid red plastic windows". It's one of the few places where "the toon was more real-world accurate". (the toon even got the F-4's little "inbetween" window)

*slaps gestalt* "This baby doesn't even need me to form Superion!"

Jokes aside, I'm pretty darn happy to have him in my hands. He got in late Saturday from Toydojo (USPS must be making up for the winter delays, because I ordered him on Thursday afternoon). And as neat as it is to have Silverbolt, there's some childhood glee at having my favourite combiner once again.

Just a heads up for anyone who is interested in getting this full set (and is having trouble getting them from TCP, etc), you can preorder full set here @ TFDirect: ZetaToys ZB KRONOS COMBINER TEAM (Set of 5)
However, it says April...so..I mean, you could probably get all 5 by then, I mean, I just thought I'd throw this out here.

Makes me think of when in the comics Optimus didn't finish their personalities, so when they combined (issue 21..I think) they were in conflict. Tried to grab a human and hurt them (something like that). Point being, only Silverbolt's personality was complete, other 4 weren't (I think..), they needed him...well, to be stable.

    I dunno, I'm weird.

I've got downthrust and catapult with Silver arrow on the way. Both are very cool but downthrust qc is much better

Well, I caved and just ordered the whole set from ShowZ. Too many positive reviews and the impressive price point made me take the plunge. Now I’ll just have to grab Armageddon when eBay has its next flash sale.

    That McDonalds shelf coming together:

    Positives:
    • Great MP Superion presentation
    • Scale is essentially perfect for Masterpiece, anything smaller would not seem big enough for an MP display, imho
    • Both heads look good; all the photos people posted of the toon head has warmed me up to it, though I still like the toy head a little more
    • No fit-n-finish issues that required physical modification to the figure to resolve

    Negatives:
    • Keeping the backs of the legbots tabbed together, especially the black F15 (Air Strike). Not the nose/tail kibble, the actual top/back layer of the leg figures
    • The teeth on the hip joints are a bit too far apart; a single click on both sides results in an A-stance wider than his shoulders. The photo above shows just one side (right leg) clicked once, which is the closest to a natural pose available between very wide stance and a stiff at-attention stance
    • The sliding hips and ab crunch have to be utilized pretty much to their max to get a stable standing stance, though it's possible the shelf he's standing on is slightly biased backward from true level
    • QC - one limb bot was missing a botmode heel piece out of the box
