    Considering how much adorable DX9 X34 Prime appeal to me, these pics from DaimChoc of Magnus/Ranton with his trademark red bumper just make my day! Both Apollo and now Ranton/Magnus need to be in my collection.

    It seems Magnus DX9 X34W Ranton is out for those that wanted. Apparently, another Magnus will be passed from me as they switched out the red bumper for silver bumper, lol.

    I was a bit on the fence, but the silver bumper looks better! :thumb 

    For anyone else on the fence, I have to say that these DX9 Optimi (vanilla, black, white, or clear) actually look a lot better in-person than they do in these pictures. I was not a huge fan of the chest windows being kind of smallish, but when I saw the figures on display at TFCon Chicago (2018), I couldn't believe how good the figures look up close! :thumb

    Did they fix the hip joints for this guy? That's a big part that holds me back on these. I have Dutch and the hips are awful; even the replacement hips.

    I have Ranton and sadly nope, they did not fix the hips. He has the same breakaway hips as Dutch.

    I like how him and don't mind owning him because I like albino inner-Magnuses, but it is impossible to recommend any version of this mold to anyone. It just has so many flaws, especially when you figure in the price.

    I remember people being angry the front of the truck wasn't red like the promo images, not sure if that turned people off? He looks really goid though

    I got him and immediately sold him to my friend. The mold just isn't as good as Hybrid Prime. I'll probably pick up the Magic Square one and see how that feels in hand.

    $20 is really a good buy for this guy. I clicked on the link to ShowZ website until I saw the promo pic with the red bumper which reminded me why I skipped him in the first place due to the silver bumper. It almost had me pulling the trigger with that price, lol
