I love Magnus and I think I’ll like Galaxy Convoy even more!

Caliburst will go to my son for his Slugslinger.

Smashdown will go with my Ultra Magnus.

 

While I am happy either way, I actually dig the opaque Slimer personally. Transparent feels more like a throwback to the some of the old Ghostbusters toys, but the opaque shows more mold detail. Either way I'm good, though.

Also... more modern molds using G1 packaging please! It works beautifully imo!

 

A shame Prime\'s forearms aren\'t blue like in the toyfair pics, but at least the wheel bits on the arms are blue despite the renders.

 

The solid slimer looks like it's made out of salt water taffy.

 

Do you think Ectotron will be in stores?

 

Was announced to be a GameStop exclusive, so maybe, but only in GameStops it seems... (which I wish wasn't the case given how bad GameStop is at... everything)

I like the look of the transparent slimer, more “ghosty” to me. However, if they have switched to opaque that glows in the dark, I’d be totally down with that.

I’m really loving the choice of the G1 packaging.

 

Slimer just became disappointing....

 

Gotta agree, it evokes that 80s goodness all so much better. Like that toy you always wanted from the 80s that you didn't know existed until today.

I knew it would look infinitely better with those shoulder pauldrons on the base figure to hide those not accurate smoke stacks! And I don't care even if it doesn't make sense because it's still his chest. I think they should've have remolded the correct windows on his chest in bot mode, but it would of been too many parts count and too much over engineering for the price/size class, so I'm ok with the compromise, and it just differentiates the base figure from supermode a lot more making it a unique feature worthy of a purchace. It just matches the aesthetics in perfect fluidity than the jarring, unpainted, inaccurate, ugly, smokestacks.

I will be displaying him like that out of supermode, as well.

at this present time no but I think he will be commander class.

 

It's roughly about POTP leader class height, so however that compares to Commander class.
That sounds about like where it should be though based on volume mass and box size.

 

Hmm, hopefully he looks good, I’d rather get him then the cybertron version, but I’d rather an armada sideways over anything at this point
