This whole episode was chock full of cheese. Clancy Brown getting to wax philosophical about his character in Highlander and break out the "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE...highlander club" was hilarious. Great episode, with a cool plug for a new toy.
It was a few season ago. I did not see it but they were going on about it online back then, it starts with Adam, and Grandpa watching TF:TM and both of them in complete shock over the shuttle attack. They get home and make a home movie to that has the family, and Optimus and Megatron come back to life.
For those of us in the fandom, at least. Obviously this guy never was available to the general public who don't follow Transformers like we do.
theres also an episode where he loses all of his transformers in bets with a classmate and his mom tries to replace them with gobots
I missed that he was dumped that way.Kind of eyeing it now as the reviews make it look to be one of the better Deluxe TF figures period. Obviously it doesn’t look like Swerve. On a related note: Alternity figures look to be CHUG scale and feature licensed cars. They’re not all winners but the GT Re-decos have a similar “weird crossover” vibe in that you’ve got Fortress Maximus turning into a 6 inch sponsored Nissan rally car. Never held one in hand but I think they fit fairly well with Aveo Swerve and Ectotron.
The scene pics from Dino Drac Dissection are great, Adam brings his first girlfriend, Dana, up to his room and he asks if she likes Transformers, then enthusiastically Explains "It is an Exciting time in the franchise, they are branching out to Dinosaurs and Insects" as he holds up Grimlock and Shrapnel.. Awesome!!
Might have to watch this series. I don't suppose ABC has past episodes free on their web site? I'll have to go check...
If you use sprint for cell service and have unlimited data you can get free Hulu. Personally I think Hulu is more worth it than Netflix
I'm all for it as long as they similarly retool the other figures the same way they came up with Ectotron, and each one represents another 80s cartoon. Windblade can be a jet from GI Joe, the Torchbearers can be a collection of M.A.S.K. vehicles or something, and Drift can be...Turbo Teen? Use two Drifts and make Wheels and Roadie from Pole Position?
I say why not it depends on what Hasbro plans on doing it hell I see customizers doing that or whatever 80s vehicles. Just planting the seeds of creativity here.
I love this show and he is hilarious. There was a minor "fued" with the actor Adam Goldberg a few years back. Actor Adam was pissed that people thought it was him. Writer Adam wrote into the show that TV Adam starts using his middle inital explaining it as "There is confusion about him and the OTHER Adam Goldberg at school and not wanting brand confusion and the other Adam is really sensitive about it.."
