I'm here in Texas. For those in nearby states or the south in general, how long did it take yours item to arrive?

 

I’m here in Florida and just got my select Megatron today. Got the shipping notice Wed but when I checked the tracking it was actually shipped out late Tue night.

I unexpectedly got my check today, so I bought Ultra Magnus to get the Premium service! Still unfulfilled due to ordering it earlier in the day, but I'm looking forward to him soon.

 

I only found out about the Premium Promo last night so I just ordered the Air Strike Patrol I've been too lazy to order before. At least something was there I wanted.

 

As I expected, I didn't get CH Megatron today. When I checked this morning, the last update was this morning where it was still in Pennsylvania; I considered it unlikely that it would reach my door in Michigan by that evening. It's now updated to Friday. However, I'd be surprised if it did, I'd think Saturday would be more likely.

 

I just logged into my Pulse account to check on my 9.99 Siege deluxe order, and to my surprise, they quietly changed the price on the pending order, now charging me 19.99 without ever notifying me. If you have any orders outstanding, you might want to check yours too.

How do they think they're going to get away with this little scam? You make a price mistake, you either honor it or you cancel the order. I'm pretty sure this against all kinds of laws, to submit an invoice for one price and then silently charge the customer another.

EDIT: I checked my credit card account, and the original pending charge has disappeared, but no additional charge has appeared to take its place.
The option has appeared on my HP order page to cancel the altered preorder. I have emailed them to get some sort of explanation, but I may call them as well.
I figured this was legit because the 9.99 wave 1 deluxes were available on HTS for some time, but if they think this is an acceptable solution to resolve an unexpected pricing error, then I won't be buying from them at any point in the future.

My Generations movie Bee shipped and will be here next Thursday. Now all that remains in my quest to own all the Beetles is MP-45 lol.

Are you sure you are checking the right order? I'm not being condescending, I only ask because I literally made that mistake a couple days ago.

I think my order was of the first ones they quietly jacked the price up on, so I can definitely confirm it's happening. Watch your orders or cancel now if you're afraid you won't catch it.

 

I got an email saying my SS leader DotM Megatron was delayed so they gave me a $20 credit code for my next order. I hadn't even reached out to complain or ask about it or anything. Not bad!

I went ahead and ordered CHM to get the free Premium upgrade, my order is as it was with no changes. Since I knew what I was getting into going in, I have nothing to complain about, but if I had ordered him at say...$15 or 20 and they changed it after the fact and bumped it to $30.00, I'd be pretty PO'd.

I'd be contacting customer service and I'm not sure it's legal for them to raise the price without warning. You entered into a legal contract with them, they offered a preorder item for sale, you committed to purchase at that price and they even processed your payment method, so there's a paper trail of such. For them to go and change it after the fact and raise the price (that you locked in!) with no warning, no request to do so... I'm seriously not sure that's legal.

 

Mine is fine. I wonder what time they changed the pricing... maybe they changed it between you placing the order and the system splitting the order. Did you make an account first or after placing the order? Most importantly, where were you on the morning of February 15th and do you have any alibis?

 

IANAL, but...yeah. They certainly have the right to cancel both sides of the contract without penalty, if no penalty is specified in the contract. For the flip side, consider how many times BBTS customers (for example) cancel both sides of a contract that involves the exchange of (preordered) goods for (promised) payment.

Unilaterally increasing the cost to the other party of fulfilling their side of the contract? Not so much. (I'm sure contracts for cell phone carriers, cable companies, etc. have all sorts of information buried in their legalese for cases where they do this....)

 

For me they did it the exact same day. I think I made the account after the order, but it was in my order list when I finished registering so I guess they matched it up by email address.

 

Did anyone bother to email Pulse? They told me they would honor $9.99 but because of the way the system works they have to credit it back.

 

can you guys use the pulse thread instead for this back and forth? it's a bit much.
