TRANSFORMERS #5 CVR A GRIFFITH (MAR190712) TRANSFORMERS #5 CVR A GRIFFITH (MAR190712) TRANSFORMERS #6 CVR A LAWRENCE (MAR190715)
Hard to believe that cover's from Jack Lawrence. Not criticizing the guy, far from it, but I almost thought it was from Sarah Stone.
So I haven\'t been paying too much to the solicts but I wonder if Megatron is going to be portrayed as the rising rebel that wants to shake up the system or as co-ruler of Cybertron? I always did love the idea that he and Optimus were basically like brothers and friends at one point, ruling Cybertron, but their views on what their future should be caused them to split.
It’s kind of weird to be six solicitations in and not have a single issue released yet. I’m piecing together this story just from the blurbs, with no idea what’s really going on. Like, I’m happy to hear that Rubble’s finally having some good luck. No idea who he is, but I’m happy for him.
Damn Jack is moving up in the world! Good on him! That cover is incredible. Is it his colouring as well?
Pretty sure that's the McGuire-Smith B cover, not Lawrence's A cover. (Not a goof on TFW's part if true, Previews have it attached to the solicit for Jack's cover on their website.)
Well that’d be more helpful to know if I could see that name. Or if I can be bothered to find out I dunno.
Obviously reserving judgement, but this is starting to sound like some really weak sauce already. Franchise's most over-exposed and untouchable characters mix with OC plot devices in the shadow of loudly telegraphed plot development.
it's interesting that the Siege Optimus they're using in the start of these comics is the galaxy force upgrade inner bot
