Yes. In fact, the sooner you cancel the better. I've heard rumors that they take their sweet time "processing" the cancellation due to ... shenanigans. I just checked my Loot Crate account. I cancelled my subscription on the 14th, it's still showing as "Pending-cancellation".

 

Thanks. I've got a button to "Remove Cancellation" now. So I'm guessing it'll stay pending until the 5th (next bill date).

Tossing this out there, not 100% certain it will happen, but recently LootCrate puts up individual items from the crates into their LootVault site. I would not be surprised if the card shows up there a month or two after the crate ships.

 

Why cancel at all? I just paid for a one month subscription. Do I still have to cancel? And if so, how?

 

Yes you need to cancel. What you signed up for was a recurring monthly subscription vs a recurring 3 month or annual subscription. Check your account info, it will say that you'll be charged again on a particular date in March, make sure you cancel before then. For me it says March 5th, I'm going to wait a couple days to make sure everything went fine with my lootcrate, but I have a reminder to cancel by this Saturday.

I had to re-affirm that I really wanted to cancel multiple times, then tell them why I wanted to cancel, and reaffirm again that I really, really wanted to cancel.

 

Eh, I got a lot of problems with lootcrate, but I don't think there is much to confuse in their description. They say it's a subscription, they say they deliver every month, and when you pick which method of payment you want to pay (1 month/3 month/12 month) the website shows you how what you're paying changes but that your still getting the same number of lootcrates.

 

First time dealing with Loot Crate. Right off the bat I hated it. It's not user friendly for first timers and their cancellation delays is shady AF. Hasbro & WotC have waaaay better venues at their disposal to use over Loot Crate and yet they went with them for reasons I cannot fathom. Alas, we do what we must to avoid another SDCC incident. But, I'm not going to lie. I am SOOOooooo ready to give LC the big 747-sized bird when this is all over with  

 

Just stalk their "Lootvault" site in a month from now. They're always adding new stuff. I got a bunch of individual items, at discount too without having to shell out the price of a crate... come to think of it, I wind up spending just as much on individual items I do want rather than a crate of mostly unwanted items.

Don't be surprised if the card shows up there in a month priced at $6.99.

 

Facebook has already confirmed that the UK is getting Omega via promo's from release weekend events at certain shops. Might be an indicator for other areas.

Good incentive to actually put a deck together and try and play some games.

The site said you get the boxes from the 21st to the March 2nd. I'm calling BS right now cause I haven't heard of a single person who received a shipping notice.
