They could bring back Beast Machines into the spotlight and I wouldn’t even be mad I liked that show all things considered.

    The original "Gulity spark". xD

Glad he's going! It's nice to have him back after what the fandom did to him in the past with their toxicity.

He and Isenberg are two of my biggest faves that have worked on toons and the lore.

I can't go so far as to say I learned to like the show, because I revisited it in recent years and I still don't. But I can look back with my oh-so-mature adult eyes and admit that my youthful anger at it for not being Beast Wars kept me from appreciating the merits it did have.

Beast Wars good. Beast Machines bad.

You'll have to keep in mind that Beast Wars' CGI is very much a product of its time. If you can forgive that, the writing and characters are excellent.

These are, hands-down, the two best-written TF shows ever made.

Beast Machines is a technical masterpiece. Although the character designs don't "feel" like Transformers, they aren't supposed to. This is whole premise of why Megatron hated them in Beast Machines.

These amazing shows from the late 90s are far, far superior to the drudgery that is being cranked out in the 21st Century (RID, Unicron Trilogy, and Prime Wars Trilogy specifically).

Sorry, I was just being an arse :)  this will be my first TF convention ever for some of the reasons you mentioned. Specifically the money part. I always seem to have a lot of month left at the end of the money. I've heard rumors of people for whom the opposite is true :D

Except Animated. Animated was also written by Isenberg, and despite its cancellation it was on-par with Beast Wars IMO.

I gave up on Beast Wars early on - I generally disliked it. I\'ve heard good things, but I haven\'t been interested in trying to go back to it. I really loved season 1 of Beast Machines, though the second season was pretty disappointing overall. Transformers: Prime is my favorite version of the Transformers franchise that I\'ve watched. I\'ll admit, I never saw Animated (or \"Transformers: Chins\"), but Prime was awesome. I won\'t be in attendance, though.

You really should give Animated a shot. Prime basically borrowed it's art style and its writing is superb.

    PRIMUS ALMIGHTY.

I'm 99.99% certain that there's some sort of reunion for both Beast Wars/Machines and Animated. There's absolutely no coincidence.

Oh man, I'm so, so glad I got my copies of the Allspark Almanac now.

I'll believe an Animated reunion if Sue Blu, John Moschitta, or Bumper Robinson are announced.

Honestly animated WAS my childhood, I think I still have my old Prime figure from the original run... If there was an animated reunion I'd probably have more of a need to go... WELP time to check my couch for travel funds...

I mean, Isenberg, Sorenson, Forester, Seibenaler and now Kay?

I might get hate for saying this, but Animated still has my favorite Optimus Prime characterization and voice. It’s amazing that so many of these faces from Transformers history are all going to the one event.

I’d say he’s one of my favourites as well. Probably tied with Garry Chalk.

I hope this convention stays in March, It's nice to have it sooner rather than later. Having a convention in July then October was too close. Hopefully TFCon Toronto can be moved to August next year, then thats a nice gap between conventions
