Dotm is the one I would pick, but this your choice $80(prime and jetfire) or $50 Dotm Prime

Man do I ever wish that Prime’s abdomen was already painted silver.

I plan on getting Jetfire regardless, as he can combine with either.

Yeah he's definitely wave 7; on the slides when he was revealed it said he's wave 3 (due to Studio Series being an ongoing thing they've gone back to numbering waves just within each year, so wave five is 2019 wave 1 etc. which also makes the leader class waves less confusing as Megatron and Jetfire are the second wave of leaders but clearly also in the fifth wave over all given the other figures they've come out with, plus the numbering). It's kind of nice that we know so much of what's coming out, but now it"s going to a be a long wait till the second half of the year to see what's in wave 4/wave 8 and any other exclusives.

 

It honestly doesn't take much skill to do it... I mean I used to complain about it, until I actually tried to do it, and learned that its not all that hard...

 

I messed up a few. I tried some of the tips like watering down the paint and doing multiple coats, but it still looked sloppy on my part.

 

Then just keep on trying, you'll get it down!  

 

So why does the KSI Boss not have the correct head?

 

Same reason SS "crankcase" doesn't have a different head, most likely they just sacrificed him so they could focus design budget on other figures.

So KSI Boss is just Nitro Zeus with a premium deco.  I\'m okay with that especially since mine was sacrificed for TR Thunderwing

 

Looks killer! Optimus, Jetfire AND the flight deck/armory trailer? Bought. Why'd it have to be Aug 1st tho'? Omega Supreme and Jetfire are set to release that month, if not that specific day iirc and now this too? lol *cries*

 

To be fair, The KSI Boss head is accurate. It was TLK Nitro Zeus that came with an inaccurate head.

 

This reminded me of my Hot Wheels that I trashed 5 years ago with poorly painted acrylics

And they shouldn't have to. Especially on something that's supposed to be a premium release. But oh well.

 

Wish the KSI Boss had a new head. That's a bit of a bummer. Still the mold's awesome and I lack normal Nitro anyway so I'll pick him up. Psyched for the rest. I'm not picking up the whole line but so far I love it.
