No I painted the back side of the eye. If you open the head and remove the LED piece you can see two small pupils. I just put a dab of paint on each one and this was the result. It looks really neat in person. Plus the light up feature still works.
Mine's been sitting as well. I think it's a combination of Chinese New Year and the trade war. Stuff has been taking noticeably longer out of China in general lately for me- which is saying something because China usually takes way longer than anywhere else anyhow. I've got another order from tf-direct that's been sitting for over a month now. Tf-direct actually contacted me a few days ago to apologize and offer me a $3 discount.
Upon opening the package one of the headlight lenses was popped off and it won’t go back on. Also an entire headlight chest piece was broke off the ball joint, which is still stuck in the socket. I emailed 3A CS and they said: Dear Customer Please refer to the Warranty Sheet for the application of warranty and follow the instructions on the Sheet for replacements/repair services. Both of my front chest fenders were loose when I opened it. One was broken like yours the other just came unglued but not broken. I used part of a paper clip that fit inside the broken piece as reinforcement then superglued it back on. It very solid now. I superglued another piece of the paper clip inside the unbroken one before recementing to reinforce it as well.
OK so the same exact thing that happened to me happened to this guy on Instagram. Everyone watch out! Also, I FINALLY got a response from 3A customer support that they’re sending me my replacement chest piece. Ugh.
That's a little worrisome. I didn't get this guy, but I did order a Blitzwing. I hope the tolerance for pieces are much better with him.
So, all of the sudden yesterday, I get notice that he was delivered while I was at work. Nothing, then bam-there! No problems with my copy, and I'm liking him! All of these figures from 3A are just killing it! Having grown up with figures with all of 5 points or so of articulation, these are just glorious and nearly straight off the screen!! This little dude has some heft to him for his size and is so well balanced! Each new arrival just makes me anticipate the next that much more!!
I really hope they do a "first batch" for Blitzwing and show Optimus and the Premium size Bumblebee which they stated is 14 inches tall
I’m kinda late to the party and am sold on Blitzwing. Where can I get in on a possible “first batch”, if I’m not already too late. If so, I guess BBTS it is.
