wow love the G1 cars. 1:64 would be better but I'm still tempted to pick up these bigger ones if I see them.

Maybe we will get MP Jazz and MP Cliffjumper soon.

If the preorders for MP Bumblebee version 2 do well, wouldn't surprise me to see a deformed porsche for MP Cliffjumper's car mode.

They seem smaller than that. Somewhere between Hot Wheels and the old Micro Machines, I'd fathom.

Definitely seems like a good omen for Masterpiece Jazz. The real Jazz.

The Nanos [depending on their size] sound ideal to use on titan class figures. I'm guessing micro machine or slightly bigger.

Was Optimus EVER a licensed freight liner in any toy line? I know it is supposed to be based on that vehicle, but AFAIK there has never be a licensed Freightliner TF

No, there never has been. This would have been the first.

EDIT: Wait! There has been a licensed Freightliner: Age of Extinction Galvatron is a Freightliner Argosy.

You know, after receiving MP Sunstreaker a few days ago and leaving him in alt-mode, I might be interested in these Jada diecast models. I was already into cars but I wasn't really interested in collecting scale models, and I think these might've sold me on it - only thing is, I need to budget them or buy them after fall.

Jada Toys got the license, not Hasbro. Hasbro/Takara would still need to obtain a licensing agreement for a proper MP G1 Jazz.

Those G1 nano cars look interesting. I guess I'll be looking out for them, too.

Im down for ALL of the Jada 1/32 & 1/24 G1 and movie cars/trucks. Real car/truck models would be my preferred collection.

Because this is a license for a GENERATION ONE OPTIMUS PRIME, not a licensed truck. ;)  "Thanks for playing, you been wonderful." lol

    Same. :)

    Right!

That be awesome! I hate the Masterpiece. They made his lower legs/feet all wrong and the wings are supposed to just be easy to pull out. They are not supposed to have to drop the trunk and transform a bunch of parts just to pull out and look shitty. Tracks V2 needs to happen at some point. But after JAZZ TRAILBREAKER HOIST MIRAGE CLIFFJ GEARS HUFFER WARPATH SEASPRAY WINDCHARGR POWEGLIDE & BRAWN

I think their point was this is just a licensed IP Optimus Prime figure. Probably some kinda realistic-LIKE evergreen type design Hasbro has under license right now for 5 year period or something. I actually really like your take on things. I always thought you were, a ex-military TF fan into realism accuracy. I actually look for your posts in the air vehicle Transformers threads, to get your realistic opinion, the name and make of airplanes military vehicles and hear your opinion. But I TOO think a licensed freightliner Optimus Prime would be awesome!

Wrong. Kinda. HASBRO is part of this release too. HASBRO is the proud owner of the Transformers' IP & their logo is on%#. So this is very good sign Jazz will be coming in the G1 Masterpiece line by 2020. It will probably look exactly like this deco in the 1st release. Then later will be the PLUS (anime deco) version, probably super expensive by that point in time

I can't speak with any authority on the subject but one would assume that's not really the case, because Jada Toys has the Transformers license and the Porsche license. Just because they have the Transformers license, that doesn't magically mean Hasbro is involved with Porsche. As far as I'm aware, the most they would need to do is sign off on Jada's plan to sell Transformers-branded toys with branded vehicles (and vice-versa for the vehicle brands such as Porsche). I could be wrong - maybe there's far more involved - but I doubt Hasbro has much involvement in this at all.

I mean hasbro is part of the jada toys Transformers release. Whether or not they get their own release is tbd. But without a doubt Hasbro is license the Transformers to Jada Toys. Good point though that they may of used their own license to secure the actual vehicle mode i cant be sure. :)
